` South Sudan’s Conflict Leads to Over `One Million ‘ Being Forced out of their Homes ‘

#AceWorldNews – UNITED NATIONS – March 30 – More than one million people have been forced from their homes because of the ongoing conflict in South Sudan, the UN says.

Of these 254,000 have fled to neighbouring countries and 803,000 have been displaced internally.

Fighting erupted between the troops of Salva Kiir, the president and his deputy, Riek Machar, in December.

A ceasefire was agreed in January but sporadic fighting has continued.
