#AceWorldNews – SEOUL – May 02 – More than 170 people have been injured in the South Korean capital city of Seoul when two subway trains collided.
Briefing reporters, fire department official Kim Kyung-Soo said 172 people were wounded in the train collision on Friday.
There have been no immediate reports of any fatalities so far.
According to reports, one train was halted in Sangwangsimni station in eastern Seoul when the second train crashed into its rear around 3:30 p.m. (0630 GMT).
Meanwhile, the Yonhap news agency said that the two last cars of the stationary train went off the rails by the force of the impact.
