Officers are making enquiries to establish whether this incident may be linked to another shooting at 13:30hrs on Friday, 13 July, also in St James’s Street. A 23-year-old man suffered leg injuries and again ran into the station:
He was taken by the London Ambulance Service to an east London hospital and released after treatment. There have been no arrests.
Detective Inspector Gemma Alger, from Trident, said: There have been two very similar incidents in a short space of time and we are making enquiries about a possible link between them.
“This is a busy area and we are hopeful there are witnesses to what happened. If you heard or saw anything suspicious please contact us.”
