#AceNewsReport – Jan.12: In an Independent exclusive, it was revealed that “an eight-year-old boy was questioned by two counter-terrorism police officers and a social worker at a school in east London over alleged radicalisation fears: The parents, who wish to remain anonymous, said their child was left ‘frightened’ and ‘traumatised’ after he was separated from his classmates at a school in Ilford to be interviewed.” #AceNewsDesk reports
On the surface, this sounds heinous. It is unheard of for children to be questioned by authorities about hateful and murderous practices, and without parental permission at that. One can understand why such questioning would raise eyebrows. However, the West is also faced with a jihad threat that is completely unfamiliar to Western society and Western authorities. Consider the following:
- Germany is alarmed by child jihadists. Its domestic intelligence agency is lobbying for a repeal of laws restricting security surveillance of minors under the age of 14, arguing that the country is facing grave risks from what the German media dubs “kindergarten jihadists.”
- A “dangerous” jihadist who “attempted to build an army of child jihadists by radicalising pupils” in London was finally “convicted of a range of terrorism offences.”
- At a parade in Indonesia, children were dressed as jihadists. Meanwhile, a series of suicide bombings in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia back in May in was described as the “worst terrorist attack Indonesia has seen since 2005.” Parents, who brought their children along to die in suicide attacks, attacked three churches and a police station, murdering “at least 23 people and injuring dozens.”
- It has also long been known that Gaza summer camps train children in jihad.
Young children are also trained by al-Qaeda, the Islamic State and their offshoots: The parents of the 8-year-old boy likely know full well that children are in some places being trained as jihadists. What’s more, the child was questioned “over concerns about the father’s attendance at dawah stalls in 2014 – which allegedly had links to a Anjem Choudary‘s al-Muhajiroun terrorist network.” Reportedly, “members and affiliates have planned and launched numerous terror attacks, with Choudary’s followers.” Such networks are active all over Europe and in Britain.
Children of abuse in Western societies are sometimes questioned in a sensitive manner by police and social workers, without the alleged abusers’ “permission.” Since this 8-year-old is suspected to be in an abusive environment, it is in his best interest to be protected, as any other child would be. This is a highly sensitive area in Western society that needs to be confronted and further investigated for the sake of children and for the sake of society. It will be tough to do this, given the skillfulness at which the victimhood card and the “Islamophobia” battering ram have been used to beat down any investigation and scrutiny.
“Eight-year-old boy questioned by counter-terrorism police officers in London school over ‘radicalisation’ fears,” by Eleanor Busby, Independent, January 6, 2019:
An eight-year-old boy was questioned by two counter-terrorism police officers and a social worker at a school in east London over alleged radicalisation fears, The Independent can reveal.
The Counter Terrorism Professional Standards Unit has now launched an investigation into the matter after the boy’s parents logged a formal complaint about the treatment of their young son.
The parents, who wish to remain anonymous, said their child was left “frightened” and “traumatised” after he was separated from his classmates at a school in Ilford to be interviewed.
The father claims his son was asked about Islam, the mosque he attends, whether he prays, and his views on other religions. He was also asked to recite verses from the Quran.
No safeguarding issues were identified from the interview in July and no further action was taken by the police – but now the parents are seeking legal advice.
They argue they were targeted for being Muslim, but The Independent understands radicalisation concerns were sparked by the father’s links to members of an Islamist group.
“We are absolutely shocked and appalled that our son was questioned alone and in this manner and without informing his parents,” the father said…..
