#AceNewsReport – June.21: Serial sex attacker John Radford, formerly Worboys, has today (20 June) admitted drugging a further four women in his black cab: Last month the CPS charged Worboys with two counts of administering a stupefying drug with intent to commit rape or sexual assault and two counts of administering a substance to commit sexual assault, following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police: The former taxi driver is currently serving an indeterminate sentence at HMP Wakefield after being jailed in 2009 for 19 sex attacks on 12 women.

Gregor McGill, CPS Director of Legal Services, said: “John Worboys is a sexual predator. His modus operandi will be familiar to any victim unfortunate enough to cross his path: entice them into his cab with cheap fares, offer them a sedative-laced drink and take advantage of their vulnerable state: “Worboys has left countless victims feeling traumatised, anxious and violated. I’d like to pay tribute to their bravery in continuing to speak up.”……………….The latest convictions followed Worboys’ typical offending pattern, with these victims coming forward in 2018 when news of the Parole Board’s decision to release him was made public……………..Worboys admitted the four new offences via videolink at the Old Bailey and will be sentenced on 2 September.

  • John Radford (d.o.b.: 30/04/1957) admitted two offences of administering a stupefying or overpowering drug with intent to commit rape or indecent assault contrary to section 22 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861 and a further two offences of administering a substance with intent to commit a sexual offence contrary to section 61 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003
  • He was originally convicted at Croydon Crown Court in 2009 of one offence of rape; one offence of assault by penetration; four offences of sexual assault; one offence of attempted sexual assault; and 12 offences of administering a substance with intent.
