#AceNewsReport – Nov.06: Police at the scene of the stabbing and are investigating a double stabbing in Harpurhey: The first victim, a 39-year-old man, was knifed as he walked along Fernclough Road shortly before 3.05am on Wednesday: Another man, 33, was stabbed around 15 minutes later on nearby Kesteven Road: Both men have been taken to hospital and remain in a stable condition: Police are treating the stabbings as linked incidents and each crime scene remains sealed off on Wednesday morning MEN News Desk reports.

A GMP spokesman said: “Shortly after 3.05am today (Wednesday 6 November 2019), police were called by the ambulance service to reports that a man had been stabbed as he was walking along Fernclough Road, Harpurhey.

“A 39-year-old man was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

“Shortly after 3.20am, police received a further report that a man had been stabbed on Kesteven Road, Harpurhey: “A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition: “No arrests have been made at this time. Two cordons remain in place
“Initial enquiries suggest these incidents are linked and enquiries are ongoing.”
