#AceNewsReport – June.23: Police were called to Tolney Lane on Wednesday, June 17: The victim, a man aged in his 30s, was taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre – with injuries that were not life-threatening and he was discharged on the evening of the attack: The 15-year-old’s arrest follows on from the arrest and subsequent charge of Rudolph Price, 50, of Tolney Lane for attempted murder: He has been remanded to HMP Nottingham and will appear at Nottingham Crown Court, no date has been set yet:

A cordon remains in place while detectives continue with their enquiries at the scene:

Detective Inspector Steve Wragg, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Following extensive enquiries we have now made a third arrest…………….“The arrest follows the arrest and charge last week of a 50-year-old man and the arrest and bail of a 28-year-old man……………….“The 15-year-old boy who we arrested yesterday has since been bailed with conditions last night………………..“Our enquiries have so far led us to confirm that this was a targeted attack, resulting in a firearm being discharged, and the people involved are known to each other………………“Fortunately no-one was seriously injured on this occasion but we treating this incident extremely seriously and we are urging anyone with any information about what happened or those responsible to please get in touch to help us understand what happened.”

He added: “Clearly every time a firearm is used in an offence it is extremely serious and people are understandably concerned: “Thankfully this type of incident is rare in Nottinghamshire and I’d like to reassure people that we are working tirelessly on this investigation and we will have an increased police presence in the area over coming days to reassure and engage with local people.
