CBP Report: Officers at Eagle Pass Port of Entry Apprehend 13 Mexican Nationals Attempting Illegal Entry to the U.S. on Thursday
The apprehension occurred on Thursday, July 30, at the Camino Real International Bridge: CBP officers conducted an examination of a commercial bus arriving from Mexico and referred it to secondary for further inspection: CBP officers utilised interview skills to discover 13 Mexican nationals attempting to make illegal entry to the United States by presenting United States birth certificates, United States passports and Legal Permanent Resident cards that did not belong to them: All 13 individuals were taken into custody for further investigation and subsequent processing.
Despite the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic and the increasing summer heat, smugglers continue to endanger the lives of individuals they exploit as well as the health and safety of our Nation.
