MET Specialist Crime Detectives have charged three men with modern slavery & drug county line offences
The following have all been charged with arranging or facilitating travel of another person, with a view to exploitation contrary to the Modern Slavery Act 2015:
[A] Jemy Capitao,27 (24.04.1993) of Maes Penrhyn, Llanelli, Sir Gar, Wales.
[B] Basky Capitao, 26 (01.06.1994) of Nigel Fisher Way, Chessington, Kingston upon Thames.
[D] Kenneth Langrish, 35 (11.05.1985) of Bull Lane, Enfield.
Jemy and Basky Capitao have also been charged with two counts of conspiring to supply a class A drug, namely crack cocaine and heroin, and acquire / use / possess criminal property contrary to the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002: Langrish has also been charged with two counts of conspiring to supply a class A drug, namely crack cocaine and heroin and possession of class A drugs, namely crack cocaine:
As part of the same investigation: [C] Lauren Smith, 26 (05.05.1994) of Maes Penrhyn, Llanelli, Sir Gar, Wales, has also been charged with two counts of conspiring to supply a class A drug, namely crack cocaine and heroin, and acquire / use / possess criminal property contrary to the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002:
Langrish is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 8 October: Jemy and Basky Capitao and Smith are due to appear at Kingston Crown Court on Friday, 30 October:
