On February 28, 2020, detectives began an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse of the two victims by Papadopoulos. Detectives learned that Papadopoulos sexually abused and exploited the first victim on multiple occasions: Detectives also learned that Papadopoulos sexually abused and solicited the second victim:
Last night, October 12, Papadopoulos was served with an arrest warrant charging him with offenses to include sexual abuse of a minor: He was transported to the Central Processing Unit and is being held on a no bond status. He has bond review today:
