#AceNewsReport – Dec.30: Officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in Boston, Massachusetts, removed an unlawfully present Salvadoran national wanted by law enforcement authorities in El Salvador on a homicide charge Friday, December 18:

Marvin Alexander Figueroa-Mazariego, 40, was flown on a charter flight coordinated by ICE Air Operations from Alexandria, Louisiana, to the El Salvador International Airport in San Salvador, El Salvador: Upon arrival, he was turned over to Salvadoran authorities:

On November 24, 2014: U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) arrested Figueroa at Rio Grande City, Texas, as an alien who entered the United States without being admitted, inspected or paroled by an immigration official:

During 2015 and 2016: Figueroa made several legal attempts to evade being returned to his country, including seeking a stay of removal, which were all rejected. In December, 2016, ERO Houston received information that Figueroa was wanted for murder in El Salvador: In July, 2019, HSI Boston arrested Figueroa at Framingham, Massachusetts:

On December 23, 2019: An immigration judge in Boston, Massachusetts, ordered Figueroa removed to El Salvador: In January, Figueroa filed an appeal with the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) which was dismissed, October 8; he was removed and handed over to Salvadoran authorities with the support and coordinated team work efforts of ICE ERO San Salvador:

ICE is focused on removing public safety threats, such as convicted criminal aliens and gang members, as well as individuals who have violated our nation’s immigration laws: In FY 2019, ERO Houston removed 5,497 known or suspected gang members and more than 12,620 aliens with criminal convictions: Members of the public who have information about foreign fugitives are urged to contact ICE by calling the ICE Tip Line at 1 (866) 347-2423 or internationally at 001-1802-872-6199…………………They can also file a tip online by completing ICE’s online tip form.
