#AceNewsReport – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers in Chicago recently intercepted two shipments, arriving from Lithuania, which contained various steroids:

CBP Officers seized more than 4,000 Pills of Various Steroids in Chicago on Jan.11: 2021:

On January 11, CBP officers inspected the two shipments to determine the admissibility of its contents in accordance with CBP regulations: The shipments were manifested as 1 Cosmetic, but when officers opened the shipments they found an assortment of steroids: Officers seized 500 pills of Methandienone, Stanozolol, Tamoxifen Citrate and Anastrozole, 1,000 pills of Oxandrolone, 300 pills of Clomiphene, 250 pills of Liothyromine and various other steroids: The shipments were headed to Albuquerque, New Mexico:

“ The experience and skills of our CBP officers to be able to target and seize this parcel is possibly life-saving,” said Shane Campbell, Area Port Director-Chicago. “These pills were destined for a residence and that person may be selling them. The buyer would not know how the pill was processed, which could be life threatening. It’s a dangerous game to play with life-threatening consequences.”

Medications that have been purchased over the internet are subject to approval by the FDA, and shippers must be registered with the Drug Enforcement Administration. Shipments that fail to be approved can be seized without reimbursement to the consumer. The consumer and exporter may also be subject to further penalties.
