(LONDON) MET Counter Terrorist Command Report: Three people arrested on suspicion of funding terrorism have been bailed pending further enquiries #AceNewsDesk report

#AceNewsReport – Feb.06: Officers from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command, assisted by colleagues from the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit, executed warrants at five addresses one the morning of 5 February. One was in Luton, two in west London, one in Southend-on-Sea, and one in central London.

MET UPDATE: ‘Three men bailed following arrest on suspicion of funding terrorism after officers raided five properties across the capital o Friday ……They arrested a 42-year-old man [A], a 34-year-old man [B] and a 45-year-old man [C] on suspicion of funding terrorism, contrary to section 17 of the Terrorism Act 2000’

All were arrested under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act. [A] and [B] were taken into custody at a central London police station: [A] and [B] have been bailed to return on dates in early march and [C] has been bailed to return on a date in late February.
