(BIRMINGHAM, U.K.) WM Police Report: Officers charged two men after a health worker’s car was stolen and he was threatened with a knife during a carjacking in West Bromwich town centre on Wed.10: Feb: 2021: #AceNewsDesk report

#AceNewsReport – Feb.16: Officers were called to reports of a woman being pulled from her Ford Focus and threatened with a knife in New Square car park at around 5pm on Wednesday evening (10 February): The stolen vehicle was spotted by officers travelling on the A41 during the early hours of the following day. Following a pursuit – and the use of a stinger – the vehicle came to a stop in Handsworth.

‘Men charged over health worker carjacking a vehicle was abandoned but following a footchase a man was detained’

Ben McCaffer, aged 33 and of no fixed address, was later charged with robbery, dangerous driving and having no licence or insurance.

16th February 2021:

He appeared before appear Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court on Friday (12 February) where he was remanded in custody to appear before the Crown Court on 12 March: Following enquiries we arrested a second man in connection with the robbery on Friday evening: It led to Aubrey Blick, aged 39, also of no fixed address, being remanded to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court yesterday (15 February). He has also been remanded to appear before Wolverhampton Crown Court on 15 March:
