(LONDON) MET REPORT: Detectives are appealing for information following a violent stabbing assault in Barking on Tuesday #AceNewsDesk report

#AceNewsReport – May.08: Officers and London Ambulance Service [LAS] attended: At the scene, a man, aged in his 30s, had been attacked by a group of males and had suffered a number of knife wounds: The victim, who was with his 12-year-old son at the time of the incident, was taken by LAS to an east London hospital where his condition was not life threatening:

LONDON: Barking Assault: Met Officers appeal for information: After a man was violently assaulted with his child was not injured but was, understandably, distressed that took place around 20:25hrs on Tuesday, 4 May, police were called to reports of a stabbing at Thurlestone Avenue’

Detective Sergeant Sajid Asghar of East Area Command said: “This was a violent and seemingly unprovoked attack on the victim and it was sheer luck that the victim did not sustain more serious injuries: “Fortunately, the victim’s injuries were not life threatening but, it would have been a terrifying experience for both him and his young son: “ The attack took place on a residential street and I am appealing to local residents and anyone who may have been driving through Thurlestone Avenue to come forward with any dash cam, doorbell or mobile phone footage that could assist our investigation: “ No matter how insignificant you think your information is, it might be a missing piece that completes our timeline of how the incident played out, so please do get in touch.”
