(LAREDO, Tx.) CBP Report: Border agents with agencies arrest over 100-illegal-migrants in ‘Stash House’ being guarded by smugglers #AceNewsDesk report

#AceNewsReport – June.15: In a joint law enforcement effort, Laredo Sector Border Patrol, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and Laredo Police Department (LPD) worked together to shut down an alleged stash house that contained a large group of individuals being guarded by smugglers in south Laredo:

CBP/HSI/Laredo Sector Border Patrol Arrests Over 100 in a Stash House: The incident occurred during the morning of June 10 when over 100 undocumented individuals were found inside the alleged stash house all of the individuals were identified as nationals of Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Ecuador, and Nicaragua.

All the undocumented individuals were taken into custody for further investigation.  None of the individuals were wearing any personal protective equipment (PPE) and all were medically screened.

The smuggling and housing of large groups of individuals in stash houses has not been deterred by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.  Stash house incidents such as this pose a threat not only to the people exploited by human smuggling but also to the people and safety of our Nation.

Take a stand against these criminal organizations and other potentially dangerous acts by reporting suspicious activity in our neighborhoods. To report suspicious activity such as alien and/or drug smuggling, download the “USBP Laredo Sector” App or contact the Laredo Sector Border Patrol toll free at 1-800-343-1994. If you see something, say something.
