#AceNewsReport – July.09: Almost a year later, the schoolgirl told a teacher that she had been abused and the police were informed.Brown, 26, of Lindfield Road, Broxtowe, was then arrested and charged.

#AceDailyNews reports that a sexual predator was sentenced on Monday for two years in prison (SUPENDED) for a further two years over the abuse of teenager at caravan park: Miles Brown met the teenager in August 2017 while she was on her school holidays, gaining her trust before engaging in sexual activity – despite her being just a child.

At Nottingham Crown Court on Monday he pleaded guilty to two counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child: He was given a two-year prison sentence, suspended for two years, and put on the sex offenders’ register.

PC Emma McGregor, who led the investigation, said: “Brown groomed his young victim and engaged in sexual communication and activity with them to satisfy his own sexual perversion: I would like to thank the victim for coming forward and reporting this to us. This has been a lengthy investigation for the victim: We would encourage anyone who has been a victim of a sexual offence to please report no matter the length of time that has passed: It will be investigated and we will always look to work with the Crown Prosecution Service to bring offenders such as Brown to justice.”
