` Israel’s Embassy in Cairo suffers as result of a home-made bomb which appeared to target a police vehicle ‘

#AceWorldNews A home-made explosive was detonated outside of Israel’s embassy in Cairo on Tuesday, according to Security sources cited by Egypt’s state newspaper Al-Ahram.

The bomb appeared to target a police vehicle near the embassy rather than the structure itself, and did not result in any injuries.

The embassy was last the target of a serious attack on September 11, 2011, when protesters entered the compound, trapping six staff members inside for several hours and ransacking documents.
