AceNewsServices – Jan.10: Hacktivist group Anonymous has threatened to avenge the recent terrorist attacks in France by tracking and bringing down jihadist websites. The group’s YouTube message directly confronts Al-Qaeda and Islamic State on the Charlie Hebdo massacre.

“We are declaring war against you, the terrorists,” says a figure wearing the symbolic Guy Fawkes mask in a new online clip, released with a statement.

The hashtag #OpCharlieHebdo is visible in the video that dedicates the message to: “Al-Qaeda, the Islamic State and other terrorists.”

It says that the hacktivist group will be going after and shutting down all terrorist accounts on social media in a mission to avenge those killed in the Charlie Hebdo attacks.

The video was uploaded to the group’s Belgian YouTube account.

Earlier, Anonymous posted a statement on Pastebin, titled: “Message to the enemy of the freedom of speech.”

“Freedom of speech has suffered an inhuman assault … Disgusted and also shocked, we cannot fall to our knees. It is our responsibility to react,” the statement says.

The group had successfully attacked many websites in the past, including government, military, religious, and commercial pages.

Anonymous’ signature move is to overwhelm the servers with traffic by sending out distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, which knocks out the websites.

On Wednesday, the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo was attacked by Kalashnikov-wielding gunmen, who killed 12 people, ten journalists and two police.

This was followed by a massive manhunt for two suspects, identified as brothers Cherif and Said Kouachi. Cherif Kouachi told a French channel that they carried out the attack on behalf of Al-Qaeda in Yemen.

The police operation ended on Friday when both were killed in a shootout with police in Dammartin-en-Goele printworks north-east of Paris.

As police forces were pursuing the brothers, Kouachi-linked gunman Amedy Coulibaly entered a kosher grocery store in Paris on Friday, killing four and taking 16 more people hostage. Security forces stormed the store, killing the hostage taker.

Following the terror suspects’ death, several media outlets, notably the AP and The Intercept, reported receiving a statement from a source within Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), commonly referred to as Al-Qaeda in Yemen.

The statement claimed that AQAP leaders directed the terror attacks in France “as a revenge for the honor of Prophet [Muhammad]” and in accordance with late Osama Bin Laden’s threats. It directly referred to the Wednesday attack on French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, which is known for controversial cartoons mocking religion, including Islam.

However, the statement added France was also targeted for its “role in the war on Islam and oppressed nations,” warning that “the crimes of the Western countries, above them America, Britain and France will backfire deep in their home.”

#AceNewsServices – UPDATE: MISSISSIPPI:Dec.15 – Since my post yesterday and the original post by Saboteur365: The Hacktivist group known as Anonymous has recently come out in support of the Jessica Chambers murder case.

The young girl was found burned alive near her vehicle in rural Mississippi.

Anonymous claims that the police were ill-prepared to handle such a high-profile case; therefore, the group decided to take the case into their own hands. After hacking into several social media accounts of local known gang members, the group was able to uncover some startling new evidence.

The Anonymous Jessica Chambers campaign is being sourced to Twitter via the user@0Hour1, which is labelled as OperationJessicaC. The first tweet regarding Anonymous jumping on the Jessica Chambers’ case came on December 12, and noted that the hackers believed a “local gang” was responsible for the girl’s untimely death.

Following the initial tweet, things seemed to heat up fast, as the group hacked several gang members’ social media accounts. Anonymous then began tweeting a barrage of damning photos and conversations gained through the cyber attack. The group has claimed to find links between Jessica Chambers’ and known gang members. Jessica has previously dated at least one member of the “Black Squad” gang, according to their investigation, and notes that the gas station where Jessica was last seen is a hub for gang activity.

The tweets paint a picture of violence, drugs, and heavy gang activity in the Panola County area, where the burning took place. Photos of gang members inside of the Panola County jail with drugs and cell phones was used by the hacktivists to show the corruption that may exist within the police department itself.

Here are just a few of the pieces of information uncovered by the Anonymous group’s hacking efforts.

The Conservative Treehouse also did some research in regards to the Jessica Chambers’ case. They seem to have come to the same conclusion as the Anonymous group, and posted a full timeline of events and explained why they feel local gangs may be responsible for the horrendous crime.

BRITAIN: ‘ UK Based Members of Anonymous Launch Operation Safe Winter ‘

#AceNewsServices – BRITAIN – October 11 – UK-based members of Anonymous launched Operation Safe Winter in Britain on Friday.

The project is aimed at providing the homeless with life’s essentials, while raising awareness of the punishing effects of austerity and the UK’s housing crisis.

Launched to coincide with World Homeless Day, the initiative is a global outreach program. In an international effort to battle against homelessness, Anonymous branches around the world will work alongside social justice campaigns.

Officially founded in November of last year, the program evolved organically out of an array of charitable projects. In 2013, OpSafeWinter provided homeless support in 12 different countries. It was particularly active in Britain, America, and Brazil.

Britain’s East Coast Homeless Outreach (ECHO) project, currently up for a special award from the Lloyds Bank Foundation, originated from Anonymous UK’s efforts to support homeless Britons in 2013.

‘ Anonymous Declares CYBER-WAR on Islamic State ‘

#AceNewsServices – October 02 – The “hacktivist” group Anonymous sent this video to News2share on September 21 2014.

The video shows they are, apparently declaring a cyber-war against ISIS, also known as the “Islamic State.” ISIS has been known for its sophisticated digital media campaign, and is estimates to have tens of thousands of social media accounts on-line.

Some members of Anonymous, taking interest in News2share’s reporting on the ISIS issue, reached out anonymously and explained that they intend to wage a cyber-war against ISIS by hacking into and sabotaging their social media accounts and other electronic resources. They then sent this video to us to serve as their press release.

At the end, they promote #OPICE2014, apparently a hashtag trend they’d like to begin. They have also been using #OpIceISIS

The anonymous contributor originally titled the video “Flaming ISIS.” The video itself sports several images seemingly ripped from on-line, as well as several scenes from ISIS’s recent “Flames of War” trailer, which asserted that “flames of war [are] coming soon.”

News2share received this video as a contribution, and in no way should be construed as endorsing or affiliating with Anonymous.

NSA releases single Snowden e-mail as Kerry tells him ‘MAN UP’ before interview with US media

The National Security Agency said Thursday that Edward Snowden sent supervisors only one e-mail when he worked there, and it did not protest the nature of NSA surveillance programs. In the e-mail to the Office of General Counsel, Snowden posed a legal question about a training program. “There are numerous avenues that Mr. Snowden could have used to raise other concerns or whistleblower allegations,” the NSA said in a statement. “We have searched for additional indications of outreach from him in those areas and to date have not discovered any engagements related to his claims.”

In an interview with NBC News, Snowden said he told the NSA about his concerns about its widespread methods of intelligence gathering.

“I actually did go through channels, and that is documented,” Snowden said. “The NSA has records, they have copies of emails right now to their Office of General Counsel, to their oversight and compliance folks, from me raising concerns about the NSA’s interpretations of its legal authorities. … The response more or less, in bureaucratic language, was, ‘You should stop asking questions.'”

Snowden — who remains in Russia, which has granted him temporary asylum — faces espionage charges in the United States.

This comes on the day John Kerry 68th United States Secretary of State said “‘Man Up And Come Home'”

US Secretary of State John Kerry has challenged Edward Snowden to “man up and come back to the United States”, after the whistleblower admitted he wanted to return home. Mr Kerry’s comments follow the former National Security Agency contractor’s interview with NBC, his first for US media since he fled the country after leaking a huge volume of classified documents. Now living in Russia on a temporary grant of asylum, Mr Snowden told the network he took action in the belief that he was serving his country in exposing the surveillance programs of the NSA. “I don’t think there’s ever been any question that I’d like to go home,” Snowden said in a segment of the interview. “Now, whether amnesty or clemency ever becomes a possibility is not for me to say. That’s a debate for the public and the government to decide. But, if I could go anywhere in the world, that place would be home.” And Mr Kerry, speaking before NBC aired that portion of the interview, said: “If Mr Snowden wants to come back to the United States, we’ll have him on a flight today. A patriot would not run away.

Susan Rice has denied Mr Snowden’s recent claims

“He should man up and come back to the United States. If he has a complaint about what’s the matter with American surveillance, (he should) come back here and stand in our system of justice and make his case. “If he cares so much about America and he believes in America, he should trust the American system of justice.” Mr Snowden had also said in an earlier part of his interview that he worked undercover and overseas for the CIA and the NSA. He claimed he had a far more important role in US intelligence than the government has acknowledged. “I was trained as a spy in sort of the traditional sense of the word, in that I lived and worked undercover overseas,” he said. National security adviser Susan Rice insisted in a CNN interview that Mr Snowden never worked undercover. Mr Snowden said he never intended to end up in Russia but was forced to go there because Washington decided to “revoke my passport.” In response, Mr Kerry said: “Well, for a supposedly smart guy, that’s a pretty dumb answer, after all. “I think he’s confused. I think it’s very sad. But this is a man who has done great damage to his country.”

Edward Snowden: ‘I Worked As A Spy Overseas’

Snowden has received support during demonstrations in the US

Fugitive whistleblower Edward Snowden has said he “trained as a spy” and worked “undercover overseas” for intelligence agencies. In his first interview in American media, he rejected claims he was merely a junior contractor, saying he worked “at all levels from the bottom on the ground, all the way to the top”. The 30-year-old, who has been charged in the US with espionage, was granted asylum by Russia in August, 2013, after instigating a series of leaks on mass surveillance in America and around the world. In the NBC News interview, due to air in full on Wednesday, Snowden defended himself against claims he had minimal intelligence experience before he released classified documents revealing the National Security Agency’s programme of phone and internet surveillance. “I was trained as a spy in sort of the traditional sense of the word in that I lived and worked undercover overseas – pretending to work in a job that I’m not – and even being assigned a name that was not mine,” he said. He said he had worked covertly as “a technical expert” for the Central Intelligence Agency and the NSA, and as a trainer for the Defense Intelligence Agency.

“I don’t work with people,” he said. “I don’t recruit agents. What I do is I put systems to work for the United States. And I’ve done that at all levels from, from the bottom on the ground all the way to the top. “So when they say I’m a low-level systems administrator, that I don’t know what I’m talking about, I’d say it’s somewhat misleading.” After the leaks, Snowden travelled to Hong Kong, then headed to Moscow, where he was holed up in the Sheremetyevo Airport for days before he was eventually granted asylum. Secretary of State John Kerry, reacting to the interview, called Snowden a “man who has done great damage to his country”. “A patriot would not run away and look for refuge in Russia,” Mr Kerry told NBC’s Today. “He can come home but he’s a fugitive from justice.” Snowden is wanted in the US on charges including espionage.

` Russian One Channel was hit by a DDoS attack that was supposed to be `Anonymous Caucasus ‘ Twitter Reported ‘

#AceNewsServices – Moscow – The site of the Russian Channel One was unavailable due to a DDoS attack, the channel’s press office confirmed to Itar-Tass. No details as to the power of the attack are available. The channel’s official website is now working normally.

The channel’s site was made unavailable between midday and 1pm Moscow time (GMT+4) from Kiev, reported the press office.

The channel earlier supposed the resource might have been attacked by the hacker group Anonymous Caucasus as report of the attack came out on its account on Twitter.

The same group released data about attacks on the Syrian Government’s sites and media which was put out on February 20, 2014.

In DDoS (Distributed denial-of-service attack) multiple systems, mainly contaminated with viruses, flood the attacked resource with requests and thus make it unavailable.
