BAHRAIN: ‘ Release Sunni-Opposition leader Ibrahim Sharif after 4-years ‘

#AceNewsReport – BAHRAIN:June.20:  The Bahraini government has released a Sunni opposition leader who had been imprisoned for four years for taking part in Shiite-backed anti-government protests, the Waed secular group – his party, announced on its Twitter account.

Ibrahim Sharif became a prominent face in the 2011 uprising that demanded a constitutional monarchy and an elected prime minister. He was later charged along with 20 other activists for allegedly plotting to overthrow the Sunni rulers of Bahrain – a Shiite-majority country.

He received a five-year sentence, which was one of the lesser sentences. Eight others received life. News of the release comes four days after another opposition leader – the Shiite Ali Salman – received a four-year sentence for inciting disobedience. Salman’s group was also a key force in the 2011 uprising.

Some 90 people have died in clashes with security forces since then, according to rights groups. Hundreds more have been put on trial.

The judge set a new hearing date for Sunday, according to activists. Rajab was detained on October 1 after posting Twitter remarks which criticized the interior and defence ministries.

One of the tweets said: “Many #Bahrain men who joined #terrorism & #ISIS came from security institutions and those institutions were the first ideological incubator.

Rajab is the head of the Bahrain Centre for Human Rights and was one of the leaders of the 2011 protest movement which demanded reforms in the country.

Bahrain is ruled by a Sunni monarchy, while over 75 percent of the population is Shia.

‘ HEZBOLLAH DENOUNCES A RULING BY BAHRAINI REGIME TO SUSPEND AL-WEFAQ PARTY ‘

#AceWorldNews – BAHRAIN – October 29 – The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has denounced a ruling by the Bahraini regime to suspend the activities of the country’s prominent opposition party al-Wefaq ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections in the Persian Gulf kingdom.

' Hezbollah slams Bahrain ruling to suspend al-Wefaq '

‘ Hezbollah slams Bahrain ruling to suspend al-Wefaq ‘

In a statement on Tuesday, Hezbollah said the ban on al-Wefaq party “proves that the elections (scheduled for November 22) are sham, pre-determined and far away from representing the will of the Bahraini people and the political powers.”

Hezbollah also said the ban indicates the repressive and totalitarian nature of the Al Khalifa regime, warning against the negative repercussions on the political future of the Persian Gulf state.

“The ruling authorities in Bahrain are not determined to make serious steps in order to solve the incurable political crisis,” said the statement.

On Tuesday, the Manama administrative court imposed the three-month ban on al-Wefaq after it threatened to boycott the November 22 elections.

The opposition party dismissed the ruling as “irrational and irresponsible”, saying, “The tyrannical dictatorship in Bahrain is ruling with an iron fist and moving to destroy the political and social life by blocking the people out.”

Eligible voters in the country will elect members of the 40-seat Council of Representatives in Bahrain next month for the first time after the beginning of anti-regime protests in the country.

In 2011, al-Wefaq pulled 18 of its representatives out of parliament after a deadly regime crackdown on Shia protesters demanding reforms in the country.

BAHRAIN: ‘ HUMAN RIGHTS WATCH CALLS FOR RELEASE OF ACTIVIST WHO RIPPED UP A PICTURE OF THE KING ‘

The New York-based NGO said on Thursday that Khawaja appeared before a Bahraini court to face charges related to two previous incidents, in which she had torn up photographs of the king.

Once in the courtroom on Wednesday, she pulled out and ripped up another photograph of the monarch.

“A Bahraini rights activist jailed for ripping up a photo of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in court on October 14, 2014, should be released immediately.

Bahrain should drop all freedom-of-expression related charges against the activist, Zainab al-Khawaja, who is eight months pregnant and has been charged with insulting the king,” the body has said.

“Zainab al-Khawaja has exposed the thin skin of Bahraini authorities, armed again only with a photograph,” Joe Stork, deputy Middle East director at Human Rights Watch, said.

“Where are the voices of the United States and United Kingdom, the supposed global champions of human rights, when it comes to Bahrain, a serial offender when it comes to punishing free speech,” he noted.

HRW calls for Bahrain activist immediate release

Amnesty International has said Khawaja could face up to seven years in prison if convicted. HRW has said she could also face a fine of up to USD 26,500.

She previously spent almost a year in prison on a number of charges, including taking part in illegal protests and insulting police officers, before being released in February.

Her father, prominent activist Abdulhadi al-Khawaja, is serving a life sentence after calling for a political reform in Bahrain.

` Bahrain’s Opposition Parties Threaten to Boycott Parliamentary Elections ‘

#AceWorldNews – BAHRAIN – May 31 – Bahrain’s opposition parties will boycott the parliamentary elections unless the government guarantees the vote will reflect the will of the people, Reuters reports.

Following the failure of talks with authorities, the Al-Wefaq movement issued a statement saying that it will not participate in the vote later this year “unless a clear political agreement is reached.”

And despite Al Wefaq’s exposed identity in February events to many shocked Bahrainis, it has returned again after the failure of the revolution to represent the same role in the hope of a comeback to work secretly in creating new grounds for a new coup after ten years from now, as stated by Ali Salman, Secretary General of AlWefaq in his first speeches after the evacuation of the roundabout on Hezbolla’s Al Manar TV.

This sends a grave message which translates to : We will come back tougher and stronger with the help of our allies : Hezbolla.

The group also urged the international community to help it pursue a peaceful democratic transition for the Gulf monarchy. Bahrain has been in turmoil since protests led by Shi’ite Muslims erupted in 2011 after similar uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia.

Bahrain is currently under political pressure from the US and the UK governments to support Al Wefaq out of fear from extremists despite the recent evidence showing the society is actually the leader of the extremist groups.

` US Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel Says Nuclear Talks Between Iran +6 Powers Will Not Undermine Security in Persian Gulf ‘

#AceWorldNews – TEHRAN – May 15 – US Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel says nuclear talks between Iran and six world powers will not undermine the security of the Persian Gulf region.

Hagel made the remarks on Wednesday in an opening speech to a conference with his Persian Gulf counterparts in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

He said Washington is hopeful of progress in the negotiations currently under-way in the Austrian capital Vienna between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council — Britain, China, France, Russia, and the United States — plus Germany.

“As negotiations progress, I want to assure you of two things,” the Pentagon chief told the (Persian) Gulf Cooperation Council – Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Bahrain.

“First, these negotiations will under no circumstances trade away regional security for concessions on Iran’s nuclear program.”

` National Democratic Opposition Parties March in Bahrain under the Banner `Stop the Enslavement ‘ in Bahrain ‘

#AceWorldNews – BAHRAIN – April 04 – According to the National Islamic Society the Bahraini opposition parties announced a massive pro-democracy march to take place on day of the race.

“The campaign is mainly organised by human rights activists who are calling for not just a boycott but a cancellation of the event as there are links between the race and the escalation of human rights violations,” Maryam al-Khawaja, the centre’s exiled acting president, told Al Jazeera on Friday.

The march is entitled ”Stop the Enslavement”. The opposition called on all fragments of the Bahraini society to participate and peacefully express the non-stop popular rightful struggle.

The National Democratic Opposition Parties invited journalists to cover the protest that will start from Shakhura heading to Sar roundabout.

Al Wefaq Secretary General Shaikh Ali Salman called on the citizens to actively take part in the April 4 march.

“The presence of journalists to cover the F1 race will be a chance for the people of Bahrain to highlight their grievances and legitimate demands to the international media”, he said.

The march is planned to start at 16:00 (Bahrain Time) at the west of the capital, Manama. It demands the establishment of a democratic state of justice and equality.

Despite the forcibly imposed media cordon, many peaceful marches were organised by the opposition since February 14 2011.

The pro-democracy people broke the historical records in Bahrain in term of numbers and non-violence.

` White House Cancels Plans to Attend Meting Between `Obama and the Persian Gulf Monarch’s in Saudi Arabia ‘

#AceWorldNews – The White House has cancelled plans for a meeting later this month between US President Barack Obama and Persian Gulf monarchs in Saudi Arabia based on tensions among US allies in the region, sources told The Wall Street Journal.

The summit was to include leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations, which includes Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and Kuwait.

Diplomats informed of the decision to scuttle the meeting said the cancellation symbolizes the tumultuous political climate in the Middle East.

The US has worked with the GCC on security and economic issues in recent years, but the main points of contention include Syria’s civil war and Iran’s nuclear operations.

In addition, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain withdrew ambassadors from Qatar this month based on its support for the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood group.

#Bahrain : ” Court Shutters `Shiite Muslim Cleric’s Council’ and `Functioning Outside’ the Law”

#AceWorldNews `Bahrain Closes Shiite Clerics’ Council’

Ace News Desk A Bahraini court on Wednesday shuttered a Shiite Muslim clerics’ council. Authorities in the Sunni-ruled kingdom earlier accused it of politicization and illegal operations. The court ordered the closure of the Olamaa Islamic Council and the liquidation of its assets following a lawsuit by the ministry of justice, Islamic affairs and endowment, AFP reported, citing a judicial source.

In September, the ministry said that the office had been “functioning outside the law.” The verdict came as authorities crack down on opposition action by Shiites. They make up the majority of the population.

The end of the US Dollar is inevitable which will herald the start of global chaos leaving not one edge of the world free from the attempted NWO take over.

American-Constitution-Headstone--59716

I understand Glenn Beck is somewhat ridiculed in the US but from here in the UK he seems to be going the right way and his conclusion in this video about where we go from here is the same as mine. Perhaps I should be ridiculed too, but I’m so sick and tired of watching this Albert Pike plan come to fruition and the majority of people are still so asleep.

At present in the world there are race riots in Singapore, war in Syria, Iraq (Yes Iraq, Mr Rothschild has to keep this one going, right ol money spinner), Afghanistan, Bahrain, Libya, Egypt, riots in The Ukraine, innocent people being ‘Droned’ in Pakistan and the first signs of the west going in for the big gold oil and mineral rape of Africa. French troops are now in there tickling and getting the juices flowing and today the Americans said they’d help out too with the African Rape Process.

What about the UK? Our turn next and if you’re living anywhere near London you can feel the energy getting more and more unhinged, people are behaving differently, there’s an air of anxiety and fear of something of magnitude about to go off.

“ Privacy What Privacy as Country After Country Plan Next Step of Spying on their own People”

wikileaks

wikileaks (Photo credit: Sean MacEntee)

#AceSecurityNews says on Wednesday 4 September 2013 at 1600 UTC, Wiki-Leaks released ‘Spy Files #3’ – 249 documents from 92 global intelligence contractors. These documents reveal how, as the intelligence world has privatised, US, EU and developing world intelligence agencies have rushed into spending millions on next-generation mass surveillance technology to target communities, groups and whole populations.

Wiki-Leaks’ publisher Julian Assange stated: “Wiki-Leaks’ Spy Files #3 is part of our ongoing commitment to shining a light on the secretive mass surveillance industry. This publication doubles the Wiki-Leaks Spy Files database. The Wiki-Leaks Spy Files form a valuable resource for journalists and citizens alike, detailing and explaining how secretive state intelligence agencies are merging with the corporate world in their bid to harvest all human electronic communication.”

Wiki-Leaks’ Counter Intelligence Unit has tracked the trackers. The WLCIU has collected data on the movements of key players in the surveillance contractor industry, including senior employees of Gamma, Hacking Team and others as they travel through Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Brazil, Spain, Mexico and other countries.

Julian Assange, Wiki-Leaks’ publisher, stated: “The Wiki-Leaks Counter Intelligence Unit operates to defend Wiki-Leaks’ assets, staff and sources, and, more broadly, to counter threats against investigative journalism and the public’s right to know.”

Documents in Spy Files #3 include sensitive sales brochures and presentations used to woo state intelligence agencies into buying mass surveillance services and technologies. Spy Files #3 also includes contracts and deployment documents, detailing specifics on how certain systems are installed and operated.

Internet spying technologies now being sold on the intelligence market include detecting encrypted and obfuscated internet usage such as Skype, Bit-Torrent, VPN, SSH and SSL. The documents reveal how contractors work with intelligence and policing agencies to obtain decryption keys.

The documents also detail bulk interception methods for voice, SMS, MMS, email, fax and satellite phone communications. The released documents also show intelligence contractors selling the ability to analyse web and mobile interceptions in real-time.

Contracts and deployment documents in the release show evidence of these technologies being used to indiscriminately infect users in Oman with remote-controlled spyware. The Fin-Fly ‘I-Proxy’ installation by Dream-lab shows how a target is identified and malware is silently inserted alongside a legitimate download while keeping the intended download functioning as expected. The target identification methods mean that anybody connecting through the same network would be systematically and automatically intercepted and infected as well, even unintended targets.
