BRUSSELS: ' EU Leaders Agree Appointment of PM Donald Tusk as Next EU Council President and Frederick Mogheni as New Foreign Affairs Chief '

#AceWorldNews – BRUSSELS – August 31 – EU leaders on Saturday (30 August) agreed to appoint Polish PM Donald Tusk as the next EU Council president and Italian minister Federica Mogherini as the bloc’s new foreign affairs chief EUobserver reported.

Outgoing council head Herman Van Rompuy praised Tusk’s pro-European credentials and for the way he steered Poland through the economic crisis, noting that it was the only EU economy which kept growing while most suffered recession.

Tusk said his appointment comes at a time when "eastern European expertise will be badly needed in Europe" and that he will seek an EU consensus on how to handle the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

As he will also chair summits of eurozone leaders only, Tusk added that Europe should not be divided into “separate clubs” and that he would not have taken the post if there was to be a separate, eurozone-only chairman.

Amid criticism from some EU states on his weak English, he threw in an English pun: “Nothing is good enough for Europe, including my English, and I will polish my English … So don’t worry”.

German chancellor Angela Merkel also voiced approval.

“It is good that Europe will have such a highly qualified and motivated European, 25 years after the collapse of the Berlin wall, 25 years after the end of the Cold War”, she said in a brief statement.

BRUSSELS: ' NATO Chief Fogh Rasmussen Says Ukraine Free to Pursue Membership of Western Alliance Despite Russian Opposition '

#AceWorldNews – BRUSSELS – August 30 – Nato chief Anders Fogh Rasmussen has said Ukraine is free to pursue membership of the Western alliance despite Russian opposition.

He told press in Brussels on Friday (29 August): “I’m not going to interfere in political discussions in Ukraine. But let me remind you of Nato’s decision at the Bucharest summit in 2008, according to which Ukraine ‘will become a member of Nato,’ provided of course, Ukraine so wishes and fulfills the necessary criteria”.

“We adhere to the principle that each and every country has the right to decide [its foreign and security policy] for itself without interference from the outside”.

Rasmussen spoke after an emergency meeting of Nato ambassadors with Ukraine’s envoy to the Western bloc.

He also spoke after Ukraine PM Arseniy Yatsenyuk earlier on Friday promised to pass a bill to scrap Ukraine’s non-aligned status. Yatsenyuk said the move is due to Russian “aggression” and would “resume” his country’s “course for Nato membership”.

Rasmussen noted Ukrainian accession was not discussed at Friday’s meeting.

BRUSSELS: ' EU Leaders Meet to Discuss Which Comes First Sanctions on Russia or Top Jobs in Ukraine '

#AceWorldNews – BRUSSELS – August 30 – EU leaders are meeting in Brussels on Saturday (30 August) to clinch a deal on two top posts and to discuss further sanctions on Russia over its military intervention in Ukraine EUobserver.

The summit will start at 5pm local time after leaders earlier in the afternoon will gather in their respective political families.

Brussels-based diplomats on Friday were indicating that a deal is emerging for Polish prime minister Donald Tusk to become the next EU Council chief once Herman Van Rompuy steps down in November and for Italian foreign minister Federica Mogherini to succeed Catherine Ashton as foreign affairs chief.

A spokeswoman for the Polish government on Friday broke the silence Tusk had kept so far about the EU post.

"European leaders are increasingly strongly persuading Donald Tusk to assume the post of president of the European Council," Polish government spokeswoman Malgorzata Kidawa-Blonska told Reuters.

"The prime minister is treating this proposal very seriously, analysing its consequences for Poland, its security, especially in light of the Ukraine crisis," she added.

BRUSSELS: ‘ EU Ready to Appeal to WTO Over Russian Import Bans Due to Lose of Billions of Euro’s in Trade ‘

#AceWorldNews – BRUSSELS – August 07 – The EU is ready to appeal to the World Trade Organization to have the Russian agriculture import bans lifted, a European diplomatic source told ITAR-TASS.

“Politically motivated large-scale trade restrictions are a direct violation of WTO rules, which Russia pledged to comply with,” the diplomat said. “These measures will be thoroughly analysed, and then relevant claims will be submitted with the WTO.”

The source added that the European Commission would start analysing Russia’s ban on imports from EU states as soon as the official list of banned goods would be published.

The EU Council may convene an urgent meeting in connection with Russia’s response to European sanctions.

It is early to say whether the EU will take measures in response to the Russian ban on imports of food products from Europe, source told.

“First, it is necessary to see and analyse the official list of product that Moscow intends to ban. After that, decisions will be made both at the European and the national level,” the source stressed.

The Russian ban on agricultural imports from the European Union is an “irresponsible measure” that can lead to losses of billions of euro for European as well as Russian consumers, the source told ITAR-TASS.

Malaysian Airliner MH17: ' Where is Your Proof That Russia Downed this Airliner to Sanction Russia '

#AceNewsServices – BRUSSELS – July 24 – EU ambassadors meeting in Brussels at 9.30 local time on Thursday (24 July) are set to discuss a raft of new sanctions on Russia, as Moscow has shown no signs of wanting to meet an EU ultimatum over Ukraine, reported EUobserver.

I am neither Russian, Ukrainian, American or believe that any type of conflict where innocents die is right. I just believe in the truth as a human being, blogger, truthful man and editor of Ace News Group.

So when any country, nation or people is being persecuted and sanctioned without proof, something needs to be said.

So I say to everyone reading this post, stand-up and voice your opinion of this situation, as politicians, world leaders and the western press, have done.

This is my statement of how l feel: So Here Goes.

This is a country that allowed the people to vote on Crimea becoming part of the Russian Federation and allowed these people freedom to choose, their governmental body.

This is also a country that has been accused of a crime, it so far has not been solidly proven was either by their design or by their hand.

This is a country that has taken over its borders thousands of Ukrainian Refugees, and provided food and shelter.

And this is a country that wants to provide a way to broker peace between two warring nations, Israel and Palestine.

So President Obama, David Cameron and the United Nations, where is your proof. Or is this country, federation and nation guilty without proof? Show the world your proof you world leaders and then you have the right with mine and many others blessing to sanction this country.

Though if as l imagine it is all hearsay, conjecture and made up truths and half-truths you do not have that right. Neither does any other leader or country have the right to accuse, any citizen of Russia of a crime that has been committed until the absolute truth has been proven.

' Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko Ready to Sign EU trade Treaty '

#AceNewsServices – BRUSSELS – June 09 – Ukraine’s new President, Petro Poroshenko, at his “modest” inauguration said he wants to sign an EU trade treaty as soon as possible.

“My pen is in my hands and as soon as the EU approves the respective decision, the signature of the President of Ukraine will appear in this fateful document,” he said in a speech at the Ukrainian parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, on Saturday (7 June).

“We consider it as the first step toward full membership in the EU. Nobody has the right to veto the European choice of Ukraine,” he added.

“We, the people who were isolated from their great European homeland, are coming home.”

The EU pact means Ukraine can have free trade with Russia, but is legally bound to stay out of Moscow’s Eurasian Union.

It is known in EU circles as “accession-lite” because it also obliges Ukraine to align itself with the minutsiae of single market rules.

EU ambassadors are to meet in Brussels on Wednesday to adopt a decision to sign.

‘European Ministers Meet Behind Closed Doors To Find A Way To Prevent Radical Terrorism’

Greek Public Order Minister Nikolaos Dendias is chairing Thursday’s meeting in Luxembourg.

German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere said the risk had been abstract until now. He expects the ministers group to announce conclusions next month.

European anti-terrorism coordinator Gilles de Kerchove was to brief ministers on current anti-jihadi measures around Europe during the closed-door meeting.

‘ G7 Leaders Prepared to Impose Further Sanctions ‘

#AceWorldNews – BRUSSELS – June 05  – Leaders of the G7 industrial nations meeting in Brussels say they are prepared to impose further sanctions on Russia over its actions in Ukraine.

A joint statement condemned Moscow for its “continuing violation” of Ukraine’s sovereignty.

The G7 summit is the first since Russia was expelled from the group following its annexation of Crimea in March.

On Thursday, leaders are set to discuss the global economic outlook, climate change and development issues.

Although Russian President Vladimir Putin is not at the Brussels summit, he will hold face-to-face talks with some G7 leaders – not including US President Barack Obama – in Paris afterwards.

However, both Mr Putin and Mr Obama will attend a ceremony commemorating the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings in France on Friday.

While in Poland on Wednesday, President Obama warned Moscow against what he called its “dark tactics” in Ukraine.

Diplomacy has intensified to try to resolve the biggest crisis in years between Russia and the West, says the BBC’s Chris Morris in Brussels.’Further destabilisation’

“We stand ready to intensify targeted sanctions and to consider meaningful additional restrictive measures to impose further costs on Russia should events so require.”

German Chancellor Angela Merkel told reporters: “We can’t afford a further destabilization of Ukraine.

` G7 Demands Independent Investigation into Ukraine Atrocities ‘

#AceWorldNews – BRUSSELS, June 05. /ITAR-TASS/. G7 has demanded an independent investigation into serious incidents in Ukraine, including the Odessa tragedy, President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy told a news conference upon completion of the G7 summit in Brussels.

No more decisions on sanctions against Russia have been announced.

Nevertheless, Herman Van Rompuy has refused to acknowledge disproportionate, un-targeted use of combat aircraft by the Ukrainian law enforces during an anti-terrorist operation conducted in the east of Ukraine, justifying the Kiev authorities as “exercising their legitimate right to establish order in the country”.

But, in February 2014 during street fighting between Maidan militants and militiamen in Kiev the European Union, NATO and a number of countries which belong to these organizations, made a number of critical statements, accusing the legitimately elected authorities of Ukraine of disproportionate use of force and stressed that using the army against the anti-government formations was inadmissible.

*Breaking* Accused Child Killer resigns from top Vatican office

Looking bad for the accused!

I am on this story, have been a while, this court case against the Vatican and the Queen of the UK. It is getting bad for the accused. But don’t expect main stream media to go near this! From Brussels and the Canada case

The International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State
Our Mandate: (1) To legally prosecute those people and institutions responsible for the exploitation, trafficking, torture and murder of children, past and present, and (2) To stop these and other criminal actions by church and state, including by disestablishing those same institutions.

Kevin Annett: Vatican rumors Pope Francis health/resignation to avoid Satanic murder evidence
Video via myself

Amidst rumours that Pope Francis, Jorge Bergoglio, may step down from his office because of his public prosecution for child trafficking and murder, one of his fellow defendants has just done so. Jesuit Superior General Adolfo Nicolas Pachon announced suddenly this week that he will resign from his office at the next General Congress of the Jesuits.

Along with Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, Bergoglio and Pachon are primary defendants in an historic criminal lawsuit being conducted by the International Common Law Court of Justice in Brussels that commenced on April 7, 2014. Several eyewitnesses who have given their deposition to the Court claim they witnessed Welby, Bergoglio and Pachon participate in child rape and sacrifice rituals connected to the notorious Jesuit-run Ninth Circle cult, during 2009 and 2010. In a statement generally unreported by the world media, Pachon announced on May 20 that he was stepping down from his office without giving a reason. The Italian TV news agency Rome Reports called Pachon’s resignation “unusual … for one of the leading prelates in the church”.

Pachon is the third top Vatican official to resign while in office after being prosecuted by the ICLCJ for crimes against humanity. Former Pope Benedict, Joseph Ratzinger, abdicated on February 11, 2013, barely two weeks before the ICLCJ jury found him guilty of complicity in child trafficking and murder. Another primary defendant in the same case, Vatican Secretary of State Tarcisio Bertone, also resigned after the verdict. ITCCS Field Secretary Kevin Annett commented today from Canada, “This is yet another huge admission of guilt by some of the most powerful men in the papacy. Obviously they are not untouchable, and their whole corrupt criminal syndicate is coming down. We should all take hope from this, and see that the law in the hands of the people can topple the worst tyrants.”

` Three People Killed in Shooting Near Jewish Museum in Brussels ‘

#AceBreakingNews – BRUSSELS – May 24 – Three people were killed in a shooting near the Jewish Museum in Brussels, which the Belgian authorities believe may be “an anti-Semitic terrorist act.”

Two women and a man died on site as the gunman opened fire at a group of people in front of the Jewish Museum in the central Sablon area, Belgian broadcaster RTBF said.

Another person was seriously injured in the attack, the emergency services said.

According to RTBF, the shooting broke out at about 3:50pm local time and took place inside as well as outside the museum.

The manhunt is currently under-way as the gunman fled in a car, Het Laatste Nieuws website reports.

Witnesses were able to write down the license plate of the vehicle which the perpetrator used for escape, De Standaard reports.

The attack was also captured by the surveillance cameras, the paper added.

According to Le Soir newspaper, 12 people were treated for shock immediately after the incident.

“I am shocked by the murders committed at the Jewish Museum, I am thinking of the victims. I saw there and their families,” Reynders tweeted.

As she was heading to the scene, Belgian Interior Minister Joëlle Milquet said that the attack was “most likely an anti-Semitic terrorist act.”

Belgian Prime Minister, Elio Di Rupo, expressed his condolences and support for the families of those, who died.

#AceWorldNews BRUSSELS May 07 The European Commission will…

#AceWorldNews – BRUSSELS – May 07- The European Commission will hold a joint session with representatives of the Ukrainian parliament-appointed authorities in Brussels on June 13 to discuss a range of issues concerning the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, the commission’s president said on Wednesday.

European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso said that the issue of energy security in Ukraine would be the priority on the agenda of the planned session next month.

The official said the European Commission continues its work on resolving the situation with energy security in Ukraine, taking into account a recently held trilateral meeting in Poland’s Warsaw.

The meeting in Warsaw on May 2 involved representatives of Russia, Ukraine and the European Union and focused on issues of the Russian natural gas transit via Ukraine as well as on Ukraine’s gas debt to Russia.

` German FM Steinmeier Threat of a Division of Europe is Still Real and a Way Must be Found to Avoid Civil War ‘

#AceWorldNews – BRUSSELS – May 06 – German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said in an interview with Gazeta Wyborcza that the refusal of dialogue with Russia would be a big mistake.

Worsened situation in eastern Ukraine and bloody clashes in Odessa show that only a few steps set off from an open military confrontation, he warned.

“The conflict over Ukraine takes very acute form, which has seemed impossible in Europe.

Threat of a new division of Europe is still real,” the minister said. Europe should seek all possible ways to avoid open civil war in Ukraine, he added.

In his opinion, it is necessary to ensure that the United States, Russia, the EU and Ukraine “sit down at the negotiating table”.

He believes a mistake four-party talks on Ukraine, held in Geneva in April , was a lack of agreement on the mechanisms of implementation of the decisions.

` Moldovan’s Celebrate May Day Rallies in Support of Accession to Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia ‘

#AceWorldNews – CHISINAU – May 01 – Moldovans celebrated May Day with rallies in support of accession to the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.

The opposition communist and socialist parties took thousands of people to streets in Chisinau, the capital of the country, under this motto. “We are for integration with Russia and see the future of our country in the Customs Union, because the agreements imposed upon Chisinau by Brussels are disadvantageous,” former Deputy Prime Minister Igor Dodon said.

He believes that this question has been raised now because Moldova is at a crossroads and should make its choice that will be critical for its future. “We can’t sit in two chairs at once. Look at what is happening in neighbouring Ukraine.

If the authorities keep dividing the country into ‘us’ and ‘them’, and limit the use of the Russian language, we will face the same plight,” Dodon said and urged all left-wing parties to unite under these ideas.
