` Russia’s National Anti-Terrorist Committee cannot confirm reports `Doku Umarov ‘ was Martyred – based on Reports ‘

#AceWorldNews Russia’s National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAC) said it cannot confirm reports of the death of Russia’s most wanted terrorist, Doku Umarov.

The statement comes following media reports citing one of the insurgent web-sites, on which his group said that Umarov “was martyred.”

A leader of the self-proclaimed Caucasus Emirate, Umarov, 49, claimed personal responsibility for numerous attacks against civilians on Russian soil, earning himself the media nickname of “Russia’s bin Laden”.

The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, repeatedly claimed that the terrorist leader was dead.

However, no official confirmation or proof has been submitted.
