#AceBreakingNews says the recent events in Ukraine have…

#AceBreakingNews says the recent events in Ukraine have shown “the escalation of violence and a massive use of firearms by the extremist groups.

In many parts of the country, public authorities, military installations and depots with munitions are being seized. Court buildings are burning, the vandals are destroying private property and killing peaceful civilians,” the Ukrainian Security Service head, Aleksandr Yakimenko, said in a statement.

According to Yakimenko, “over the last day more than 1,500 firearms and 100,000 rounds of ammunition have come into the hands of criminals.”

Reacting to the “conscious, purposeful use of force by means of arson, killings, kidnapping and terrorizing people,” which Yakimenko treats as “terrorist acts,” the Security Service and Anti-terrorist centre of Ukraine have decided to launch a counter-terrorist operation.

The Security Service head then urged all Ukrainians to stay calm and maintain peace and order. Special measures to reinforce public security and border security are being taken.

President Viktor Yanukovich has been informed of the start of the operation, he added.

#Russia /`Volgograd’ “Suspected Bombing Mastermind Killed in Dagestan”

#AceNewsServices says `Suspected `Volgograd‘ bombing mastermind killed in Dagestan ‘

VolgogradMapThe militant was identified as leader of the “Kadarskaya” gang Mirzayev, a Dagestani law-enforcement source told Itar-Tass on Wednesday, adding that according to preliminary information, he might have sent two suicide bombers to Volgograd late in December 2013.

The special operation was carried out in the town of Izberbash. “The house was blocked on Wednesday morning. During the talks, one of the militants’ accomplices surrendered,” the source said. “The rest, including Mirzayev, opened fire and were killed in a shootout.

January 30, it was reported that suicide bombers who staged two terrorist acts in the southern Russian city of Volgograd late in last December were identified, and criminals involved in their delivery to the city were detained. January 29, as a result of investigative actions on the territory of the Republic of Dagestan, Magomednabi and Tagir Batyrov involved in transporting suicide bombers to Volgograd were detained.

Two terrorist attacks were staged in the city of Volgograd over the last days of 2013. On December 29, a suicide bomber detonated explosives at the entrance to the waiting hall of Volgograd’s central railway station. On December 30, a suicide bomber blew up a trolleybus in the morning rush hour. These attacks claimed 34 lives. About 100 people were wounded.

#Russia : `Volgograd Suicide Bombers’ Identified by `National Anti-Terrorism Committee’ and Detained’

#AceBreakingNews `Volgograd Suicide Bombers Identified’ and `Suspected Accomplices’ detained.

Published time: January 30, 2014 10:25

Edited time: January 30, 2014 12:03
BreakingNews1The two suicide bombers responsible for the attacks in Russia’s Volgograd in December have been identified, the National Anti-Terrorism Committee said. Their alleged accomplices, suspected of aiding their travel to Volgograd, have been detained.

The two terrorist attacks took place in the space of just over 24 hours on December 29 and 30. The first one, a huge blast at the Volgograd railway station on December 29, was followed by another a day later inside a packed city bus. More than 30 lives were claimed in the attacks, and dozens of people were injured.

“In the course of the investigation… our leads resulted in the identification of two suicide bombers of the Buynaksk terrorist group – Asker Samedov and Suleyman Magomedov,” a committee official said in a statement.

However, those responsible for planning the terrorist attacks may still be at large, the anti-terrorism committee said. A search is underway.

Dagestan has been the scene of several recent anti-terrorist operations, three of them on January 22, leading to the elimination of a prominent militant leader allegedly responsible for a series of bombings and attacks on the police, Eldar Magatov.

A member of the so-called Babayurtovskaya gang, Magatov was hiding out in rural Dagestan.

A total of three operations by Russia’s security forces were carried out in an attempt to apprehend the suspected terrorist.

Blasts, shoot-outs and other violence are a common occurrence in the volatile republic as extremists face off against security forces on an almost-daily basis.

Dagestan, as well as neighboring Chechnya and Ingushetia – which at one point or another also harbored suspected militants from Dagestan – have all lived in fear of terrorist attacks recently.
