OBAMACARE SPAWNING ‘MEDICAL HOMELESSNESS’ CRISIS

California Obamacare enrollees are struggling to find doctors who accept their newly purchased health insurance plans.

I struggle in my tiny Scottish brain to understand and relate myself to American healthcare again here. I don’t know how other countries work, but today, same as every Monday I drive for my medication, or someone collects for me (I Still take some and have other medications at hand) to the chemist. I only see my Dr if there is a change in medication, mostly it is phone consultations as it’s often hard for me to make an appointment. I will get 8 items today in a big bag for free £$. In two weeks I have a scan on my knees planned last week at hospital, again for free. Should I decide I want to see my Dr today, I call before 10am, see him within 3 hours with any new medication, again FREE So why does the biggest, bestest nation on Earth have to keep people waiting months, charge hundreds of dollars a month and allow at least 500 Americans to die every day. A health service ranked about 30th best in the World.

As usual, links at the bottom

WHAT HAPPENED AMERICA? How can little old me get that in tiny Scotland (Totally different rules from England) and you can’t America? I feel guilt speaking to American friends always 😦 the ones who need medication badly and have to wait. In a system YOU pay for, you can’t have a say in what medication you need. North Korea has better health care 😦

UCSF Dr. Kevin Grumbach calls the phenomenon “medical homelessness.” CBS San Francisco says that many of the health care clinics for low-income individuals that helped people enroll in Obamacare are now seeing those same people “coming back to the clinic begging for help.” “They’re coming back to us now and saying, ‘I can’t find a doctor,'” Rotacare clinic staffer Mirella Nguyen told CBS San Francisco. “What good is coverage if you can’t use it?”

The problem stems from Obamacare’s “narrow networks” – extreme restrictions on access to doctors and hospitals in an effort to cut costs. California single mother of two Thinn Ong experienced the pain of Obamacare’s narrow networks when she realized that her $200-a-month Obamacare plan is not accepted by many of the doctors in her area. “Yeah, I sign it. I got it. But where’s my doctor? Who’s my doctor? I don’t know,” said a frustrated Ong.

CBS San Francisco reports that “Experts said the magnitude of the problem is growing, and will soon be felt by all Californians.” Breitbart News contributor Scot Vorse experienced the reality of Obamacare’s narrow networks when he discovered that the closest dentist who accepted the required dental plan he was forced to purchase for his children was over 100 miles away. Californians are not the only ones coming to terms with the reality of Obamacare’s narrow networks. In Staten Island, New York, Margaret Figueroa, who suffers from a neurological disease that has required four brain surgeries, says her Obamacare plan denied vital medications and dropped all her doctors. Figueroa’s congressman, Rep. Michael Grimm (R-NY), said he’s already received similar complaints from at least a dozen of his constituents.

Concerns that Obamacare’s narrow networks would spawn a medical homelessness crisis have been building for months. The Washington Post warned in January that “Obamacare’s narrow networks are going to make people furious.” Obamacare’s narrow networks crisis comes as vulnerable Democrats are scrambling to distance themselves from the president’s unpopular health care program. On Saturday, the New York Times reported that Obamacare has Democrats “running from it rather than on it.” Democratic Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-MA) said last week that Obamacare will cost Democrats dearly in the Nov. 4 midterm elections. “We will lose seats in the House,” said Lynch. “And I think we may lose the Senate. I think that’s a possibility if things continue to go the way they have been… primarily because of health care.”

What Obama Promised the people of the USA

OK, Before I type I thought Obama was the real deal when he came into politics, when he got to the White House I felt a hope, I hoped for better. Many American’s I truly believe do not get how much of an bad impact American foreign affairs has on the World. And also, Obams is probably a decent lad. I am just sharing lies he told

I actually feel people are debating with me so much on “Why Obams is so perfect” they actually don’t read my blogs. I never blog against just Obama, I blog against Russia, India, Ireland, even my own country and more , most of my friends here are from the USA, so I write about the American Government also. Obama is in full control of the USA, HE IS THE MAIN MAN, and for whatever reason people still back the man. All I ever do is tell the truth, or what I have researched as hard as I can. I always leave links at the bottom. I have left a portion of hundreds of links below the lies, if anyone is unsure on any lie in this list, simply Google it, if I am wrong, I am wrong. Will it make me lose sleep? No, Will it change anything? No. Will it make the World a better place? No. I just get Obama supporters down my throat all day. When I post, I post can long and with links, no different from anyone here, so I can tell in most cases people have read the headline and a few lines and guessed on the rest of my blogs. So, ok. Here are some things (From where I am in Scotland 6,000 miles away) I could remember a lie being told, or an action not taken, these words below are not mine, they came from the mouth of Obama.

Strange thing is, Obama fans will find a way to make this and other articles, that are TRUE a lie 😀

I blog for fun, I blog for the truth, I created a group to give others their voice on everything from religion, poetry, pictures, illness, and all in-between, I believe in allowing opinions on the internet, not that what I say count’s for much, but Word Press isn’t just about me, I give people space to have a voice also. People can be real short sighted about a person before they write an nasty email from Chicago, example, and at the end of most blogs I type “More love, less hate” Kinda trademark now, being doing it over a year here. People give me grief over this but forget I did this for other bloggers, to help people https://www.facebook.com/groups/332290193580349/ and to have fun, take a person at full value, not just your values

Lie: “If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor. Period. If you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan. Period. No one will take it away. No matter what.”

Lie: “My administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in government.”

Lie: “We agree on reforms that will finally reduce the costs of health care. Families will save on their premiums…”

Lie: “I don’t want to pit Red America against Blue America. I want to be the president
of the United States of America.”

Lie: “We’ve got shovel-ready projects all across the country that governors and mayors are pleading to fund. And the minute we can get those investments to the state level, jobs are going to be created.”

Lie: “And we will pursue the housing plan I’m outlining today. And through this plan, we will help between 7 and 9 million families restructure or refinance their mortgages so they can afford—avoid foreclosure.”

Lie: “I will sign a universal health-care bill into law by the end of my first term as president that will cover every American and cut the cost of a typical family’s premium by up to $2,500 a year.”

Lie: “We reject the use of national security letters to spy on citizens who are not suspected of a crime.”

Lie: “For people with insurance, the only impact of the health-care law is that their insurance is stronger, better, and more secure than it was before. Full stop. That’s it. They don’t have to worry about anything else.”

Lie: “We will close the detention camp in Guantanamo Bay, the location of so many of the worst constitutional abuses in recent years.”

Lie: “Allow Americans to buy their medicines from other developed countries if the drugs are safe and prices are lower outside the U.S.”

Lie: “We will revisit the Patriot Act and overturn unconstitutional executive decisions issued during the past eight years.”

Lie: “Will ensure that federal contracts over $25,000 are competitively bid.”

Lie: “We reject sweeping claims of ‘inherent’ presidential power.”

Lie: “Will eliminate all income taxation of seniors making less than $50,000 per year. This will eliminate taxes for 7 million seniors — saving them an average of $1,400 a year– and will also mean that 27 million seniors will not need to file an income tax return at all.”

Lie: “We support constitutional protections and judicial oversight on any surveillance program involving Americans.”

Lie: “If we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do. I will get our troops home, we will end this war. You can take that to the bank.”

Lie: “Will not sign any non-emergency bill without giving the American public an opportunity to review and comment on the White House website for five days.”

Lie: “The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.”

Lie: “We have a choice in this country. We can accept a politics that breeds division and conflict and cynicism…. That is one option. Or, at this moment, in this election, we can come together and say, ‘Not this time….’”

Lie: “We’ve got to spend some money now to pull us out of this recession. But as soon as we’re out of this recession, we’ve got to get serious about starting to live within our means, instead of leaving debt for our children and our grandchildren and our great-grandchildren.”

Lie: “[T]oday I’m pledging to cut the deficit we inherited in half by the end of my first term in office. This will not be easy. It will require us to make difficult decisions and face challenges we’ve long neglected. But I refuse to leave our children with a debt that they cannot repay – and that means taking responsibility right now, in this administration, for getting our spending under control.”

Lie: “I, Barack Hussein Obama, do solemnly swear that I will execute the office of president of the United States faithfully, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the constitution of the United States.”

As I said, probably a decent lad being led by others, a puppet, we all know these things happen

What Care In The Community – Part One

person we should be caring for and not all the rest! The sad fact is we have all the paperwork, departments and training but we just miss one very important fact!

WeSorry folks have been away on a personal crusade to sort out this – so-called ” Care In The Community” and what really happens, when we as relatives leave it  to the so-called professionals!

Well it all started about a month ago when my mother who is 89 years young, was submitted to the hospital, suffering from projectile vomiting! It came as a shock when l received the phone call as she had already been picked up and transferred to a hospital, somewhere!

Now the person who rang me was the now ex-regional manager and l will explain more on her later, but safe to say, supposed to be in charge! Anyway l thanked her for the call and waited about an hour and contacted the local hospital and was told, nobody by that name had been admitted to here! So immediately l rang back my mother’s care services and spoke to the same person and was told well the paramedics picked her up, and took her to hospital, but she knew not where! Now as a relative and her carer, son and main contact l was to say the least some what distraught and when questioned, she said nobody asked we just imagined it would be local!

So it was left as so often to me to find out where she was and eventually l found her so miles away at another hospital and was told not to worry, as she was alright and having a meal! The nursing sister said we will contact you later after the “react team” have seen her and recommend further. So l asked about visiting and was told could l refrain from visiting, as she maybe out before the weekend, now today was Friday! So l was being told my mother of 89 years of age, housebound and unable to walk without a hoist,  macular degeneration, chronic heat failure and thyroid problems, maybe taken home before the weekend, without even knowing what was wrong with her! In fact after a second visit to another hospital one week later, no body has had the courtesy of advising what was wrong with her, other than to say she had chronic constipation, this was when she was admitted the second time!

In fact she was released one week later from the first hospital, with even more tablets than before, and still no report of the reason for the vomiting, unless you count the words “well we can find nothing wrong” in fact when l questioned the doctor she said the extra tablets, where in fact anti-sickness! The fact that upon her release the first time no body advised me she had to take extra tablets, and in fact they were found by me two days later thrown on the floor and nobody, even the “care service providers” where aware she had to take them! It was only when l happened to visit on that day a doctor turned up as she had been unwell and they thought it was a UTI {Urinary Tract Infection}, which the doctor flatly denied, but l advised that her lips where so dry up on my arrival as she had not in my opinion, drank enough fluid! Thus the carer’s  had in their intimate wisdom decided it must be a UTI and not lack of looking at the person for any symptoms related to how people get UTI’s, namely lack of fluid!

Anyway l showed the doctor the tablets and she said, l will check this out and let you know, but stated they are anti-sickness, as one of the other tablets have side effects, that cause sickness! Also as my mother was not a good eater or drank enough fluids without coaxing, then maybe this could the reason, she was sick!!!

So l waited until l was in town and visited the pharmacy and asked about the tablets, they knew nothing and had no records, so l visited the doctor’s surgery and was told they had sent details to the pharmacy! I stated they had not received these details and upon checking the computer, l was told must be an error. So once again it was up to me to hand deliver the instructions for these tablets, as everyone involved one again had failed to deliver this service.

My conclusion on just part one of these post, is that we are all to busy getting our health services more money, and miss one vital and most important point, that all that should matter is the  do not have people who care enough about the person that they are caring about, and until we do, more situations like this one will occur, over and over again, l am sorry to say!

IMPORTANT: You may have noticed that l mentioned no persons, hospitals and services names, as l have an ongoing enquiry underway, which involves every service provider mentioned. This is and will be very involved as l have to wait for their report’s and then follow-up, so until l have more information l cannot disclose names! Just would like to know if anyone else has encountered similar situations? If so please let me know so l can print your findings, or investigate for and on your behalf?
