In a contentious speech at the Reagan Library, he blamed the decline of Iraq and the rise of Islamic State terrorists on President Obama and Hillary Clinton.
#AceNewsReport – WASHINGTON:July.30:Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has agreed to testify before the House committee investigating the 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya, in October, the panel announced late on Wednesday.

#AceNewsReport – June 19, 2015 Twitchy: “Going on the Sunday shows is not my favorite thing to do,” Hillary Clinton admitted in January 2013, confessing that “there are other things that I prefer to do on Sunday mornings.” (And, as we’ve learned from the release of selected emails, Clinton likes to sleep in on days when the president […]
#AceNewsReport – WASHINGTON:June.13: Clinton announced her candidacy by blaming Republicans for the fact that inequality in the US has been increasing and Wall Street managers and CEOs have expanded their share of the economy while overlooking how that trend started during her husband’s administration.
Hillary Clinton officially announced her candidacy today saying that she intends to reshape the US economy so it works for more Americans rather than just those on the wealthier end of the spectrum. However, she overlooked her husband’s role in bank deregulation that led to an increase in inequality and the crash of 2008.
“These Republicans trip over themselves promising lower taxes for the wealthy and fewer rules for the biggest corporations without regard for how that will make income inequality even worse,” Clinton said in her speech.
The Republican candidates in the 2016 cycle are continuing to push for the same damaging policies, Clinton argues.
“They pledge to wipe out tough rules on Wall Street, rather than rein in the banks that are still too risky, courting future failures. In a case that can only be considered mass amnesia.”
The choice of Roosevelt Island, named after and dedicated to Franklin Delano Roosevelt stands as an ironic symbol given that Hillary Clinton’s husband, President Bill Clinton, undid key legislation that Roosevelt enacted to end The Great Depression and rein in runaway financial institutions.
President Clinton’s tenure was characterized by financial deregulation which set the stage for the expanded deregulation during the administration of George W. Bush, during the end of which the economy crashed. Clinton signed the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which repealed the Glass-Steagall Act, a cornerstone of Depression-era regulation Roosevelt had put in place. Bill Clinton also signed the Commodity Futures Modernization Act, exempting credit-default swaps from regulation.
Bill Clinton would likely have a significant advisory role should the couple return to the White House.
In a new memoir, Hillary Clinton is expected to offer her most detailed account yet of the deadly 2012 attack on Americans in Benghazi, Libya, which could become nettlesome should she run for president in two years’ time. The former secretary of state rebukes Republicans over the issue in her book, Hard Choices, part of which was leaked to a political website on Friday. She says she will “not be part of a political slugfest on the backs of dead Americans”, according to Politico, which obtained the chapter, entitled Benghazi: Under Attack. “Those who exploit this tragedy over and over as a political tool minimize the sacrifice of those who served our country,” she writes.
Ms Clinton also says an anti-Islamic video that triggered protests in Egypt was “indeed a factor” in the Benghazi incident. Conservatives accuse the Obama administration of misleading the public and Congress about the nature of the attack to avoid political backlash in the weeks before the presidential election. The September 11 2012 assault on the US diplomatic compound killed four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. Ms Clinton’s memoir will be published on June 10. A week later she will sit down for an interview with Fox News, which has extensively covered the Benghazi affair, it was announced on Thursday.
Meanwhile, speculation has been swirling among Washington DC’s political classes over a private lunch between President Barack Obama and Ms Clinton on Thursday. The White House confirmed the two – rivals for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination – had dined alone. But aides on both sides refused to say what they talked about. Anticipating Ms Clinton’s forthcoming memoir, the Republican National Committee said in a statement on Friday: “The more Americans learn about hard choices like these, the less likely they will be to choose Clinton in any future election. A book isn’t going to change that.” Earlier this month, the House Republican leadership controversially launched a select committee to investigate Benghazi. Ms Clinton has already taken responsibility for the assault, calling it the darkest hour of her career.
I don’t know whether to cry, laugh or be REAL embarrassed for you USA! The kids coming through want to vote for Hilary but have NO IDEA WHY! This is pathetic and a reason you get stuck with crap presidents America! Watch the video, one kid says “We had an African American President, a Woman would be a good step forward” When asked about Hillary’s accomplishments, not one of these kids, one doing a study on her he says, could name one thing she did. America this is a HUGE problem. Why do your kids not know about politics? What is the age to vote in the USA? Here in Europe kids have a good grasp of politics, where I am in Scotland kids as young as 18 know why or why not they will vote for Scottish independence, the kids actually have a good argument on the issue. These kids are your future America, your scientists, politicians, the list is endless. As usual I mean to offend NOBODY. I am sharing American news. I posted a video MANY times by an American man who tried to warn you America, and, well, this video below sends chills down my neck. How can they be supporters if they don’t know what they are voting for? Did American vote for America because he was African American? Are you all going to vote for Hillary because she is a Woman. I can’t say how much of a worry this is for the future of the USA! Video at the bottom, you were warned!
America, THIS IS YOUR FUTURE!! I would start to worry. This is embarrassing America, Video below….

Nearly one hundred and fifty years ago, in issuing the Emancipation Proclamation, President Abraham Lincoln reaffirmed the commitment of the United States to the enduring cause of freedom. Then as now, we stay steadfast in our resolve to see that all men, women, and children have the opportunity to realize this greatest of gifts. Yet millions around the world including here in the United States—toil under the boot of modern slavery. Mothers and fathers are forced to work in fields and factories against their will or in service to debts that can never be repaid.Sons and daughters are sold for sex, abducted as child soldiers, or coerced into involuntary labor. In dark corners of our world, and hidden in plain sight in our own communities, human beings are exploited for financial gain and subjected to unspeakable cruelty.
Slavery remains the affront to human dignity and stain on our collective conscience that it has always been. That is why members of my cabinet and senior advisors gathered at the White House the other day, at a meeting chaired by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, to lay out their plans for meeting this challenge. The United States is committed to eradicating trafficking in persons, and they pledged to draw on tools ranging from law enforcement and victim service provision, to public awareness building and diplomatic pressure.
They reiterated that government efforts are not enough, we are also increasing our partnerships with a broad coalition of local communities, faith-based and non-governmental organizations, schools, and businesses.
They agreed to bring all these elements together, and to be sure we are maximizing our efforts, today I am directing my cabinet to find ways to strengthen our current work, and to expand on partnerships with civil society and the private sector, so that we can bring more resources to bear in fighting this horrific injustice. In the coming weeks the White House will build on this gathering on behalf of human dignity. I am confident that we will one day end the scourge of modern slavery, because I believe in those committed to this issue: young people, people of faith and station, Americans who refuse to accept this injustice and will not rest until it is vanquished.
A reaffirmation that the United States stands with them, and that together we will realize the promise of the Emancipation Proclamation and our country’s ideal of freedom!
