Deputy Interior Minister for Security Gen. Ayub Salangi confirmed the incident and said a suicide bomber detonated a Vehicle-borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) in Tangi Tarakhel area.
Gen. Salangi said at least one civilian who was driving a vehicle was injured following the incident. But another security official in the area said four people were injured.
