` New Ukrainian Government are `Violating Human Rights ‘ and ` Oppressing National Minorities ‘ Poland-Based NGO ‘

#AceWorldNews The new government in Ukraine is violating human-rights and oppressing national minorities, a Poland-based NGO said, adding that the actions of the Maidan leaders would be considered illegal in most EU states.

Mateush Piskorski, a Polish MP and head of the European Centre for Geopolitical Analysis, said: “The dominant political forces who participated in the so-called Euromaidan” are calling “for major violations of human-rights, mainly to violations of the rights of national minorities.”

Piskorski told Itar-Tass that his organization sent several groups of experts to Ukraine during the unrest.

#AceUKNews says according to the Daily Mirror a Tory MP worth £110 million is raking in £625,000 a year from his hard-up tenants’ housing benefit – despite blasting the “something for nothing” welfare state.

Richard Benyon – Britain’s richest MP – runs his vast property empire from a mansion on his sprawling country pile.

But last night he was accused of cashing in off the back of the very handouts his party pledged to slash – as it emerged a string of other Tories were doing the same.

Just last month the MP, 53, said: “The average household spends £3,000 per year on the welfare state. This figure had been rising inexorably and are unaffordable.”

Mr Benyon has also attacked the Labour Party over payments and said: “Labour want benefits to go up more than the earnings of people in work.

It is not fair and we will not let them bring back their something for nothing culture.” He is a director of the Englefield Estate Trust Corporation Limited, which owns most of the land and property linked to his family.

It got £625,964 in housing benefit from West Berkshire council last year, more than any other private landlord in the area.

” Lee Seok-ki is Sentenced in a `South Korean’ court under a `Rare Treason Trial’ to Twelve Years in Prison”

#AceWorldNews says according to latest reports a South Korean court on Monday sentenced an opposition legislator to 12 years in prison, AFP reported.

A rare treason trial saw Lee Seok-ki, 52, convicted of plotting an armed revolt in support of North Korea. Prosecutors had demanded 20 years for the MP, who was tried along with six other members of his left-wing United Progressive Party.

They were sentenced to terms ranging from four to 12 years. Lee was the first member of the National Assembly to face treason charges since the country’s transformation from a military-backed autocracy to a fully-fledged democracy in the 1980’s.

#Turkey : `Heated All Night Debate’ `Approves Law’ to give `more `Power to Government’ to Appoint Judges and Prosecutors ”

#AceWorldNews says after a night of heated debate and a brawl that left one MP hospitalized, Turkey’s parliament on Saturday passed a law that gives the government more power to appoint judges and prosecutors.

The debate focused on the Higher Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSYK), the body responsible for appointing members of the judiciary.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan blames the influential US-based cleric Fethullah Gulen – who has built up quiet influence in the police and judiciary – for stirring up a corruption investigation he sees as being used to unseat him.

The opposition party CHP said on Thursday that it would appeal the bill to the Constitutional Court if it was approved in parliament.
