#AceNewsServices – GAZA CITY:Dec.15 – On the 27th anniversary of their establishment, terrorist organization Hamas continues to send threatening messages to Israel – this time via an especially provocative parade in Gaza and with the release of their latest propaganda video.

The video, released by Hamas’ military wing the al-Qassam Brigades, features the voice of wanted and ruthless terrorist Muhammad Deif. Deif, the Chief Commander of the brigade, has survived five Israeli airstrikes, the most recent during Operation Protective Edge.

Deif’s voice in the video comes from an old recording which was broadcast during Operation Pillar of Defense in November 2012. In the recording, Deif can be heard saying “It is time to purify the Al-Aqsa Mosque [from Jews].”

A short time later, the shadow of a man, similar to the appearance of Deif, can be seen, despite the unclear photography.

The video also contains a montage of Hamas’ “successes” over the years in its struggle with Israel. These include a picture of Gilad Shalit, the Israeli soldier kidnapped by Hamas in 2006 later exchanged for over 1,000 Palestinian prisoners in 2011.

Other images include that of Hamas’ long-range missiles and men from Hamas’ divers unit. At the beginning of the video, a shot of the Nahal Oz military post can be seen. Five soldiers lost their lives there during Operation Protective Edge in July.

The purpose of the video, it seems, is to show that even four months after Operation Protective Edge, Hamas is still able to threaten Israel.

Meanwhile, this weekend, during a rally in Gaza City celebrating its anniversary, Hamas paraded around the streets, presenting their “abilities” and “innovations” to the Gazan public.

A 160 Rantissi missile fired to Haifa during Operation Protective Edge was displayed. Additionally, members of Hamas’ naval commandoes who carried out underwater attacks into Israel, made a rare appearance.

Hamas also took aim at Israel. Members dressed up as Israeli soldiers wore masks with the faces of late soldier, Shaul Oron and/or Gilad Shalit on them.

The parade also featured Hamas members burning an effigy of a Jew and the Temple. In addition, they carried around coffins with photos of the murdered Rabbis in the Har Nof attack.

‘ ‘ Kim Jong’s Sister Moving into Prime Position to Take Power ‘

#AceNewsServices – NORTH KOREA – Nov.30 – In her slim-fitting trouser suits and black-heeled shoes, Kim Yo Jong cuts a contrasting figure to her pudgy older brother, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

On Thursday, state media said the younger Kim, 27, had taken a senior position in the ruling ‘ Workers Party ‘ confirming speculation she had moved closer to the centre of power in the secretive state.

It named her as a vice director alongside the head of the Propaganda and Agitation Department, which handles ideological messaging through the media, arts and culture.

#AceNewsServices – Nov.19 – By now it is well known that Islamic State (IS) produces propaganda videos of exceptional quality. They are slick, smart and incredibly powerful. It is no exaggeration to say they are the best-produced videos to have ever emerged from the global jihad movement.

This is quite something, given that jihadist groups have always been at the forefront of harnessing new technology for their own ends.

Even with this in mind, the release of another IS video on Sunday was remarkable for a number of reasons. The group’s nihilism and gross barbarism is packaged with the kind of artistic care that might be more expected in a Tarantino thriller.

‘Breathtakingly callous’

After a long introduction outlining the IS version of history, the group is shown marching 20 men to their deaths.

Menacing sounds – the clanging of swords and the heavy, desperate breathing of men who know what comes next. Slow motion shots capture the stony fear etched on the victims’ faces.

Halfway through the slaughter the ringleader – a British man dubbed “Jihadi John” – stops and looks directly into the camera. It is breathtakingly callous.

The small Syrian town of Dabiq, which featured in the latest beheading video from the Islamic State group (IS), has figured heavily in the group’s propaganda since July when it named its new English-language magazine after the town.

The group has focused on the dusty backwater not because of any strategic importance or the size of its population – the Syrian census of 2004 recorded that little over 3,000 people were living there – but for the power of its symbolism.

Dabiq, which lies around 10km (six miles) from the Turkish border, features in Islamic apocalyptic prophecies as the site of an end-of-times showdown between Muslims and their enemies.

The Prophet Muhammad is believed to have said that “the last hour will not come” until Muslims vanquish the Romans at “Dabiq or Al-A’maq” – both in the Syria-Turkey border region – on their way to conquer Constantinople (modern-day Istanbul).

IS has been seeking to bring on that battle by goading the international coalition to confront it there.

‘This British militant is believed to have been involved in the beheading of five Western hostages since August ‘

The masked British militant who is believed to have been involved in the killing of five Western hostages since August appeared in the latest IS video with Dabiq in the background and the severed head of murdered US aid worker Abdul-Rahman Kassig at his feet.

“Here we are, burying the first American Crusader in Dabiq, eagerly waiting for the remainder of your armies to arrive,” he said.

IS has repeatedly dared the West to send ground troops to Syria. By staging the latest beheading video in Dabiq, the group appear’s eager to be given an opportunity to fulfil the prophecy and bolster its legitimacy to a wider audience.

It appears that the militants were filmed on a hill on the northern edge of Dabiq, close to the location of another IS propaganda video released in October which featured three European jihadists all playing up the significance of the town.

‘The British man in this video has threatened to behead coalition forces ‘

One of them, a British IS member of Eritrean origin called Abu-Abdallah, addressed the camera with the black IS flag fluttering in the background saying “We are waiting for you in Dabiq” and threatening to behead coalition forces there.

CHINA: ‘ Propaganda Machine Working Fine on Data Collection as Recruitment of Analyst’s Reaches Two Million ‘

#AceNewsServices – CHINA (Beijing) – October 08 – A central government coordination body called Central Internet Security and Informatization Leading Group was established on February 27, 2014 led by the Chinese President Xi Jinping, Premier Li keqiang and head of the propaganda authority Liu Yunshan.

Such high level coordination group suggests that internet information security has become the top priority of the Chinese government.

In addition the protection of domestic information network, the control over information flow in the Internet through censorship and opinion channelling are considered as most important “stability maintenance” routine. In order to strengthen the monitoring of the Internet, the Chinese government decided to endorse “Internet opinion analyst” as an official occupation status.

Many critics point out that the policy implies a change of the Chinese government propaganda tactic, yet relatively little is known about how opinions are “channelled” and what mechanisms analysts use in order to do their jobs.

This begs the question: what exactly do on-line opinion analysts do?

Different from the “Fifty-Cent Party,” people who are responsible for channelling public opinions by writing online comments and deleting posts, online opinion analysts use computer software to monitor social networking sites and forums, collect netizen opinions and attitudes, compile reports and submit the reports to decision-makers. Opinion analysts provide crisis management strategies for private, state and party-affiliated institutions such as universities, charity groups and civic organizations, as well as local and national governmental authorities.

According to The Beijing News, roughly 2 million people in China currently work as public opinion analysts, officially outnumbering China’s 1.5 million active armed service members.

A recently leaked evaluation of an opinion-channelling program at Peking University reveals much about the mechanism of Party-led opinion making in China. The research centre, led by the Communist Youth League of China, is responsible for the coordination of opinion channelling and analysis within the University.

The program monitors on-line conversations and messaging within the University community and publishes regular reports analysing online opinion for University administrators.
