(MOSCOW) JUST IN: Three Russian nuclear ballistic missile submarines have surfaced simultaneously breaking the Arctic ice during drills, reported the commander-in-chief of the Russian fleet at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin via videolink on Friday #AceNewsDesk report

#AceNewsReport – Mar.27: The commander, Nikolai Yevmenov, said the sophisticated manoeuvre was carried out by submarines “for the first time in the history of the Russian Navy”. The submarines surfaced within a 300 meters radius and the ice they broke was 1.5 meter deep, the admiral added:

‘The Kremlin has pushed to beef up defences in the Arctic, which Putin has touted as a vital region for Russian interests as climate change makes it more accessible’ https://t.me/reuters_news_agency/70099

Reuters Wire News, [Mar 26, 2021 at 6:10 PM]

The Russian defence ministry published footage of the submarines emerging from underneath the ice with loud noise. After one of them surfaced, a sailor showed up on top of it and waved at a camera with his hand.

The drill was held near Franz Josef Land Archipelago in the Arctic Ocean and was aimed at testing Russian military hardware in extreme weather conditions.

“The Arctic expedition… has no analogues in the Soviet and the modern history of Russia,” Putin said.

#AceWorldNews – SOCHI – October 26 – Russian President Vladimir Putin says the United States promotes terrorism by financing terrorists and creating division instead of strengthening unity among world nations.

' US promotes terrorism by funding Takfiris '

‘ US promotes terrorism by funding Takfiris ‘

The Russian leader made the comments on Friday during a speech at the plenary session of the 11th meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club in Russia’s Black Sea resort of Sochi.

“In Syria, just like in old times, the US and its allies began to provide militants with direct funding and weapons to incite filling of their ranks by mercenaries from different countries,” Putin said, adding that this is how the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group has turned into a “de facto army.”

“They [ISIL terrorists] are active in a highly effective manner, from the military perspective, they are real professionals,” he stated.

Putin also said another reason why the ISIL has gained so much power is because the so-called anti-ISIL coalition, led by the US, is creating division among regional powers.

The Russian president went on to say that such “unilateral dictatorship” does not help anti-terror efforts; instead it causes “growing chaos” in stable states.

#AceNewsServices – MOSCOW – October 24 – Vladimir Putin has voiced his disagreement with the West’s position on Russia, which he likened to the Latin proverb

“What is permissible for Jove is not permissible for an ox.”

However, he said “a bear” won’t ask anyone for permission.

Stressing how different the international reaction to Kosovo and Crimea referendums was, the Russian president reminded of the proverb ‘Quod licet Iovi, non licet bovi’.

We cannot agree with such definitions,” he said.

“Maybe it isn’t permissible for an ox, but I have to say that a bear will not ask anyone for permission,” Putin jested, adding that a bear is “the master of the taiga” and it will not give it up to anyone.

The Russian leader attended the Valdai Discussion Club in Sochi on Friday where he touched a wide range of topics – from Islamist militants in the Middle East to the state of Russian economy.

Putin lashed out at the United States for destabilizing the world order of checks and balances for its own gains.

He also accused the West of inflaming the situation in Ukraine and said Russia was not interested in building an empire.

“I spoke with the Finance Minister of Russia only yesterday… and he did confirm that President Putin will be coming to the G20 leaders’ summit in Brisbane,” Australian Treasurer Joe Hockey confirmed to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation on Sunday morning.

“That has certainly been the consensus of other members of the G20 that President Putin should attend.

And I think there will be some full and frank dialogue with President Putin at that meeting.”

#AceNewsServices – UNITED STATES (Colorado) – October 12 – The Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) is reporting today that President Putin’s order to begin deploying tactical nuclear weapons throughout the Crimean Federal District is “intensely/directly related” to a “missing”, and believed stolen, low-yield atomic cannon shell from its storage bunker in Fort Carson, Colorado, which is a United States Army installation located near the city of Colorado Springs.

One of the main entrance signs at Fort Carson

One of the main entrance signs at Fort Carson (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

According to the SVR, the atomic weapon missing from Fort Carson has been identified as a W48 nuclear artillery shell that measures 155 mm (6.1 inches) in diameter and 845.82 mm (33.3 inches) long.

This report notes that the W48 was produced in two models, Mod 0 and Mod 1, which weighed 53.5 and 58 kg (118 and 128 pounds) respectively and have an explosive yield equivalent to 0.072 kiloton (72 tons of TNT).

Though the US had reported that all of their W48 nuclear shells had been “retired” by 1992, this report says, the SVR has long noted their continued “use for training” by US Army 4th Infantry Division forces head quarter’s at Fort Carson and under the command of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) forces operating from the Cheyenne Mountain nuclear bunker complex, all of whom are located in El Paso County, Colorado.

The specific US weapons platform designed to fire the W48, this report notes, is the Paladin M109A6 155mm Artillery System [3rd photo left] which is currently operated by  forces belonging to the 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 4th Infantry Division.

Over the past few days when this W48 nuclear shell “disappeared”, this report continues, the forces of the 1st Brigade Combat Team were involved in training exercises with the 1st Battalion of the 66th Armored Regiment at Fort Carson ahead of their planned deployment in the next few weeks to the Fort Irwin National Training Center, in California, which will span much of November, after which they will be prepared to deploy to combat worldwide.

US media reports about this missing W48 nuclear shell are “nonexistent”, this report further notes, other than their noting that Fort Carson has been put on a “total lockdown” as US military forces there continue their search for what they call a lost “sensitive item“, a term they use that refers to gear including weapons, ammunition and night vision goggles – items that cause high-level concern when missing.

These media reports further report that whatever is missing, it must be small enough to fit in a car causing Fort Carson security officers to spend about two hours inspecting all vehicles leaving Fort Carson’s gates yesterday and their spokesman stating: “As part of random searches at the gate, we are conducting outbound vehicle searches in order to prevent the unauthorized removal of government property from the installation.”

Of critical concern to the Kremlin regarding this missing W48 nuclear shell, SVR intelligence analysts in this report state, is that if fits nearly exactly to the strange and mysterious war game sprung on world leaders this past March by President Barack Obama that he named “nukes on the loose” and involved a terrorist attack with an atomic “dirty bomb” that takes place in the financial heart of an unnamed but Western metropolis.

London’s Telegraph News Service in their report on this “nukes on the loose” war game further noted:

‘ ISIS Threatens Vladimir Putin in Video ‘

#AceNewsServices (Opinion) – September 21 – Russia, which has criticized U.S. plans to launch strikes against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in Syria, could soon become a victim of the militant group, whose members include extremists from Chechnya.

Courtesy of DAHBOO77

The Soufan Group, a New York-based intelligence firm, estimated in June that some 200 Chechen fighters were involved in the Syrian conflict.

Earlier this month, ISIS jihadists released a video threatening Russia shortly after they captured an air base in Raqqa, eastern Syria, and seized Russian-made fighter jets.

In the video, a militant said: “This message is addressed to you, oh Vladimir Putin. These are your aircraft which you sent to [Syrian President] Bashar [al-Assad], and with the help of Allah we’ll send them back to you. Remember this. And with the permission of Allah, we’ll liberate Chechnya and all the Caucasus.”

Marvin Kalb, a senior adviser to the Washington-based Pulitzer Center, told Al Arabiya News: “Putin worries constantly about local insurgents getting field training in Syria, or now in ISIS, and then returning to Russia to implement their new skills.

“Putin doesn’t want them back in Russia, and this is a chronic nightmare for him.”

Alex Melikishvili, a senior analyst at U.S.-based research giant IHS, said it is “entirely conceivable” that returning ISIS fighters would wage war against Russia, just as Chechen insurgents have done over the last two decades.

The longer it takes to destroy ISIS, the higher the likelihood that some of its battle-hardened militants will make their way  to the North Caucasus,” Melikishvili told Al Arabiya News.

‘ Russia’s and India’s Relationship Goes Back to 1971 Indo-Pakistan War ‘

#AceNewsServices – (Editor Choice) – September 19 – The tradition of close, friendly relations between Russia and India is largely inherited from Soviet-Indian relations, established after Indian independence.

' Putin and Modi Meeting at BRICS '

‘ Putin and Modi Meeting at BRICS ‘

The Soviet Union and India had common or coinciding positions on most of the important issues in world politics.

The Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 was the direct military confrontation between India and Pakistan during the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971. Indian, Bangladeshi and international sources consider the beginning of the war to have bee Operation Chengiz Khan, when Pakistan launched pre-emptive air strikes on 11 Indian airbases on 3 December 1971, leading to India’s entry into the war of independence in East Pakistan on the side of Bangladeshi nationalist forces, and the commencement of hostilities with West Pakistan.

Lasting just 13 days, it is considered to be one of the shortest wars in history where the USSR rendered important assistance to India.

As a result of India’s great victory, the newly independent state of Bangladesh was formed in place of East Pakistan.

This was an important stage in India’s history that to a significant degree laid the foundation for the transformation of the state into a great power.

At present, relations between Moscow and Delhi are based on the similarity of both countries’ approaches to the fundamental problems of global development.

UKRAINE: ‘ Prisoner Swap Takes Place Between Security Forces and Donestsk Republic ‘

#AceWorldNews UKRAINE (Donetsk) September 14 The much-anticipated prisoner swap between Ukrainian security forces and militia in the breakaway republic of Donetsk is under-way 30 kilometres to the north of the region’s capital city Donetsk, a RIA Novosti correspondent reports.

' Prisoner Swap in Ukraine Eastern Ukraine Takes Place During Cease-Fire '

‘ Prisoner Swap in Ukraine Eastern Ukraine Takes Place During Cease-Fire ‘

The swap follows a ground-breaking ceasefire agreement in Belarus’ capital Minsk on September 5 where Ukraine, Russia and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) agreed to exchange all captives held by Kiev and militias in the breakaway eastern regions, in what they described as an “all-for-all” prisoner exchange.

Negotiators were building on Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko’s peace plan for resolving the conflict in eastern Ukraine, as well as on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s proposals.

Earlier in the day, Kiev confirmed that the parties were to exchange a total of 146 captives on Sunday, following a similar swap on Friday when self-defence forces in the Donetsk People’s Republic handed over 36 Ukrainian personnel that had been apprehended in their territory during Kiev’s military operation in eastern Ukraine. In its turn, the Ukrainian government freed 31 hostages.

On Friday, the Donetsk republic’s Deputy Prime Minister, Andrei Purgin, said a total of 1,500 people could eventually be swapped.

Ukraine has been engulfed in violent internal conflict since mid-April, when Kiev began its military operation against independence supporters in the south-eastern regions of the country.

According to United Nations’ estimates, some 3,000 people have been killed and more than 6,000 wounded since the start of the offensive.

‘ US Imposing New Sanctions on Russia Joining EU Targeted at Defence, Financial and Energy ‘

#AceBreakingNews – UNITED STATES (Washington) – September 11 – The United States will impose a new round of sanctions on Russia on Friday, joining the European Union in ramping up pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin over the Russian presence in Ukraine.

President Obama said the broadened sanctions will target Russia’s financial, energy, and defence sectors.

“These measures will increase Russia’s political isolation as well as the economic costs to Russia, especially in areas of importance to President Putin and those close to him,” Obama said in a statement released by the White House Press Office.

“As I said last week, if Russia fully implements its commitments, these sanctions can be rolled back. If, instead, Russia continues its aggressive actions and violations of international law, the costs will continue to rise.”

RUSSIA: ' Strategic Missile Forces Reports Vladimir Putin Issues Feared Dead Hand Early Warning System Order '

#AceWorldNews – RUSSIA (Moscow) – July 30 – A grim report issued by The Strategic Missile Forces (SMF), which is the main component of Russia’s Strategic Nuclear Forces (SNF), states that President Putin earlier today issued a feared “Dead Hand” order not used since 26 September 1983 when the nuclear early warning system of the Soviet Union twice reported the launch of American Minuteman intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) from bases in the United States reported EU Times.

The issuance of the 1983 “Dead Hand” order, this report says, was in response to a five-day North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) command post exercise called Able Archer 83 that Soviet military officials feared was a “ruse to war”.

A “Dead Hand” order, it should be remembered, is a Cold-War-era nuclear-control system developed by the Soviet Union and remains in use today and is controlled from the massive and highly secretive underground military city at Mount Yamantau located in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

“Dead Hand” is an example of fail-deadly deterrence as it can automatically trigger the launch of the Russian intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) if a nuclear strike is detected by seismic, light, radioactivity and overpressure sensors. By most accounts, it is normally switched off and is supposed to be activated during dangerous crises only; however, it is said to remain fully functional and able to serve its purpose whenever needed, such as today.

To Putin’s ordering the “Dead Hand” protocols today, this report continues, is in “direct response” to President Obama’s plan to send US military forces into Ukraine, a hostile war move Deputy Foreign Minister Vladimir Titov warned last month would lead to an immediate Russian response by his stating:

“We cannot see such a build-up of the alliance’s [NATO’s] military power near the border with Russia as anything else but a demonstration of hostile intentions. It would be hard to see additional deployment of substantial NATO military forces in central-eastern Europe, even if on a rotational basis, as anything else but a direct violation of provisions of the 1997 Founding Act on relations between Russia and NATO. We will be forced to undertake all necessary political and military measures to reliably safeguard our security.”

Critical to note about Putin’s issuing a “Dead Hand” order today was that nearly immediately after it had been issued,Vladislav Surkov, one of the most powerful men in the Kremlin, and the Russian leaders top aide, in essence, confirmed its existence when during a private interview with the Financial Times News Service on the sham US$50 billion ruling against Russia in a European arbitration proceeding (called The Fine That Rang Out Across The World) relating to the Yukos case stated why the Kremlin was not responding by simply stating: “There is a war coming in Europe. Do you really think this matters.

` Vladimir Putin at Economic Forum Does Not Plan to Impose Restrictions on the Internet it Applies to US and EU ‘

#AceWorldNews – ST PETERSBURG – ECONOMIC FORUM – May 23 – Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia does not plan to impose restrictions on the use of the Internet.

The restrictions, he added, may touch only the propaganda of suicide and pedophilia.

“We do not have any limitations associated with the self-expression of a human being, related to the use of modern technologies for one’s own development, or for development of one’s own business,” Putin said at the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum.

“The restrictions have been introduced, but what are they about? They are about the prohibition of the propaganda of pedophilia, child pornography, and the propaganda of methods of suicide.

Excuse me, but legal systems of other countries are full of such restrictions, and this applies to Europe and the United States,” said Putin. Moreover, he said, such restrictions in those countries are much more stringent than in the Russian legislation.

Equating some bloggers to mass media complies with global trends in this area, and Russia simply closes loopholes in the law in this case, Putin said.

Prince Charles ‘Compares Putin To Hitler’

Not helping UK/Russian friendship

Why can’t the Royals shut up? We have the Duke of Edinburgh (My City and the Queens jester and husband) who is the mouth of stupid Royalty now this fool Charles has gone and totally knocked UK/Russia ties to the ground! His Mum’s (The Queen) Nuclear Arsenal is in my country, not England! Royal Family, please, give it a rest you fools!

Prince Charles has reportedly compared Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler over his actions in Ukraine. The Prince of Wales’ alleged remark about Mr Putin came during a four-day tour of Canada when he spoke to a woman who fled the Nazis and lost family members in the Holocaust. A spokesman for Clarence House said: “We do not comment on private conversations. “But we would like to stress that the Prince of Wales would not seek to make a public political statement during a private conversation.” Charles was being shown around the Museum of Immigration in Halifax, Nova Scotia, along with Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall. The royal couple paid tribute to World War Two veterans and their families, and during the course of the visit they spoke to museum volunteer Marianne Ferguson. Ms Ferguson told the Prince she fled to Canada with her family in 1939, not long before Hitler annexed the Baltic coastal Free City of Gdansk.

Video – Sky News

Prince Charles and Camilla in Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island

After meeting Charles, the 78-year-old told the Daily Mail: “The Prince said ‘And now Putin is doing just about the same as Hitler’.”I must say that I agree with him and am sure a lot of people do. “But I was very surprised that he made the comment as I know they [members of the Royal Family] aren’t meant to say these things. “I told the Prince that while my family and I were lucky to get a permit to travel, many members of my relatives had permits but were unable to get out before the war broke out on September 1. “They were sent to the concentration camps and died.” The Mail reported that the Prince made his comments while surrounded by media and they were heard by several witnesses. Mr Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov told Sky News: “I don’t know anything about it. I can’t really trust the Daily Mail as a source.”

Protesters in Kiev have also compared Putin to Hitler

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg backed Prince Charles on his LBC Radio phone-in, saying: “Prince Charles should be perfectly entitled to express views in the confidence that he’s expressing them privately.” But Labour (Co-op) MP Mike Gapes, who represents Ilford South, said the Prince “should abdicate” if he wants to make controversial statements. He said on Twitter: “If Prince Charles wants to make controversial statements on national or international issues he should abdicate and stand for election. “In constitutional monarchy, policy and diplomacy should be conducted by parliament and government. Monarchy should be seen and not heard.” UKIP leader Nigel Farage, who has backed Mr Putin’s anti-EU stance in the past, said: “Prince Charles has made those comments – I know some people feel that way about Putin. “I think there’s a difference. The difference is right from the very start Hitler was expansionist, and we haven’t see very much evidence of that until now from Putin and arguably, what’s happened in the Ukraine is because he’s been poked with a stick by the rest of the world.”

Mr Putin is in Shanghai meeting with Xi Jinping and other world leaders

Charles and the Russian leader are due to meet next month when they attend the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy on June 6. Mr Putin has faced international anger over Russia’s actions in neighbouring Ukraine, including the controversial annexation of Crimea. In March, former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton reportedly said Mr Putin’s claim to be be defending ethnic Russians in Crimea was “what Hitler did back in the ’30s”. She later backtracked, claiming she was not making a direct comparison but that Russia’s behaviour was “reminiscent” of Germany in the build-up to the Second World War. Prince Charles has been known for speaking his mind on issues such as architecture and the environment, but he rarely makes his feelings known on diplomatic matters. There is an ongoing legal battle over the publication of letters he has sent to politicians, with the attorney general concerned their release could compromise the Prince’s neutrality and create constitutional problems.

` US Administration Has NO Evidence of a PULL-BACK of Russian Troops from Russian-Ukraine Border ‘

#AceWorldNews – WASHINGTON – May 07- U.S. Administration has “no evidence” of a pull-back of Russian troops from the Russian-Ukrainian border, White House spokesman Josh Earnest claimed Wednesday.

He said Washington would welcome what he referred to as a “meaningful and transparent” withdrawal.
Earnest made his comments soon after Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters had withdrawn troops from the border area.

He said the troops were “in places where they conduct their regular exercises – at the training grounds”, which can easily be verified by modern reconnaissance methods, including from space.

Earnest also repeated Washington’s demands that the referendum on the status of South-Eastern regions of Ukraine, which the supporters of federalization of the much-troubled country plan holding May 11, should be called off altogether and not put off to a later date – something that Putin asked the leaders the antifascist protest movement in Donetsk, Lugansk and other places to do.

` Vladimir Putin in Discussion with OSCE Didier Burkhalter Prior to Withdrawal of Russian Troops from Ukraine Border ‘

#AceWorldNews – MOSCOW – MEETING with OSCE – May 07 – Ukrainian right-wing groups are behind the recent events in the country, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, adding that Kiev has not disarmed them.

He also called on anti-Kiev protesters to postpone a May 11 federalization referendum.

“Russia believes that the crisis, which originated in Ukraine and is now actively developing in accordance with the worst-case scenario, is to be blamed on those who organized the coup in Kiev on 22-23 February and still do not care to disarm the right-wing and nationalist elements,” the president said.

Direct dialogue between Kiev and anti-government protesters in south-east Ukraine is key to ending the crisis, Putin said.

It is now essential to create “to create the necessary conditions for this dialogue,” he added.

This, however, would require rescheduling the referendum, which anti-government activists scheduled on May 11 to determine the fate of south-east Ukraine.

“We are calling for south-east Ukraine representatives, supporters of federalization of the country, to postpone the May 11 referendum to create the necessary conditions for dialogue,” Putin said at a press conference with OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Swiss President Didier Burkhalter in Moscow.

In response to Putin’s offer, one of the leaders of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pushilin, said the possibility would be discussed Thursday.

“We respect Putin’s position. He is a balanced politician. So we will submit this proposal tomorrow to the people’s council,” he said.

‘Russia withdraws troops from Ukrainian border’

President Vladimir Putin also said that Russia has withdrawn its troops from the Ukrainian border.

“We have been told that our troops on the Ukrainian border are a concern – we have withdrawn them. They are now not on Ukrainian territory, but at locations where they conduct regular drills at ranges,” he said.
