‘ RT Correspondent teargassed by Police during peaceful protest on #NO vote in Athens ‘

#AceBreakingNews – #Greece July.02: RT correspondent Ilya Petrenko was teargassed by police as he got caught in clashes between security forces and radical left Antarsya coalition supporters during a protest on the capital’s central Syntagma Square.

Clashes between police and protestors erupted during two simultaneous rallies held by radical left Antarsya coalition and the Communist Party in Athens on Thursday.

Both parties took to the streets to call for the Greeks to vote ‘No’ in the referendum on Sunday.

People started running away. There were some scuffles and fighting erupted. But it was quickly dispersed.”

He added that the situation is currently quite “chaotic” and police are on stand-by.

The Eurogroup of the EU finance ministers has announced that the debt talks will be halted until Greece votes either to accept the international lenders’ conditions or not.

FRANCE: ‘ DEPLOYS 5,000 SECURITY FORCES TO PROTECT JEWISH SCHOOLS ‘

#AceWorldNews- FRANCE:Jan.12: France is deploying nearly 5,000 security forces and police personnel to protect 700 Jewish schools after last week’s attacks, one of which targeted a kosher supermarket.

Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said on Monday that soldiers would also be posted as reinforcements, AFP reported.

He addressed parents of a Jewish school to the south of Paris, near where an Islamist gunmen shot dead a policewoman on Thursday, one of 17 people killed in three days.

IRAQ: ‘ SUICIDE BLAST TARGETING SECURITY FORCES & CLASHES WITH ISLAMIC STATE KILLS 23 TROOPS ‘

#AceWorldNews – BAGHDAD:Jan.06: A suicide blast targeting Iraqi security forces and subsequent clashes with Islamic State extremists on Tuesday killed at least 23 troops and pro-government Sunni fighters in the country’s embattled western province of Anbar, officials said.

In reporting the Associated Press said that the day’s heavy toll for the Iraqi forces came as they struggle in battles against the Islamic State group and try to claw back territory lost to the extremists during the militants’ blitz last year.

Iraq’s prime minister vowed on Tuesday to dislodge IS militants from all areas under their control.

Egypt; ” Day After Referendum on Constitution Violence Erupts Between Muslim Brotherhood and Security Forces”

#AceWorldNews says that Doctors have confirmed the death of at least two people in clashes between pro- Muslim Brotherhood activists and security forces in Egypt. Witnesses on the ground report at least 6 deaths. Dozens of others have been wounded as violence erupted in Suez, Fayoum and Cairo with protesters throwing gasoline bombs, firing bird-shot and hurling rocks, while police responded with tear gas. Authorities reported the arrest of 125 demonstrators. The unrest took place a day after a referendum on a new constitution.
