` Hemp and Poppy Fields in ` Crimea ' will be Destroyed according to Russia's FSKN after meeting of State Anti-Drug Committee '

#AceWorldNews – SIMFEROPOL – April 02 – Hemp and Poppy fields in Crimea will be destroyed, head of the Russian Federal Drug Control Service (FSKN) Viktor Ivanov told ITAR-TASS on Wednesday after a visiting session of the State Anti-drug Committee.

“The meeting focused on issues related to the organisation of the work aimed at the destruction of the resource base of drug production – hemp and poppy grow here. It has been decided to destroy this resource base,” Ivanov said.

The meeting participants also made a decision to create in the Crimea the Anti-drug Commission that will be headed by the Crimean premier, Sergei Aksyonov.

MOSCOW – March 26 – Recently having banned the use of Methadone as it had become a criminal business in Ukraine. This was just another step closer to banning and removing drugs and drug lords from Crimea.
Ivanov had said its efficacy was not clinically proved, but there was hard statistics showing that the number of deaths from its use in the United States and Great Britain had increased considerably as addiction to methadone is much stronger than that to heroin.

#AceWorldNews says the leader of `Crimea’s Russian Unity Party’, Sergey Aksyonov, has been voted in as the new chairman of the region’s council of ministers, RIA Novosti reports.

The pro-Russian politician was supported by a majority of 53 MPs of the Crimean parliament, with 64 MPs taking part in the vote out of 100.

The new council of ministers, which acts as a regional government, is to be formed Friday.
