#AceNewsReport – Nov.14: Investigation underway after couple and baby threatened at knife point in Tameside: At around 5pm on Friday 12 November, the victims – a man and woman both in their 20s – had arranged to meet with a man on Victoria Road, Dukinfield, after agreeing online to sell their PlayStation to him.

#AceDailyNews reports on Detectives Investigation underway after couple and baby threatened at knife point in Tameside on Friday evening around 17:00hrs

Anyone who may have been in the area at the time or may have seen a white Seat travelling towards Hyde yesterday evening is asked to check dash-cam footage and contact police with information.

CASE NOTES:

The man – wearing a dark jacket and described as white, aged mid-to-late 20s, with a chubby build and brown hair – handed over money that the couple believed to be fake, before proceeding to threaten the couple with a knife while making verbal threats to stab their baby…………………He then threw liquid onto the man’s face before stealing his phone making off in what is thought to have been a white Seat in the direction of Hyde………………….Colleagues from the fire service also attended the scene before the victim attended hospital for treatment: Test results suggest the liquid was not a harmful substance and the man wasn’t injured………….The baby and their mother were thankfully unharmed but all were understandably shaken…………….No arrests have been made and enquiries by detectives at Ashton-under-Lyne CID are ongoing.

Detective Sergeant Alison Haxby, of GMP’s Tameside district, said:

We’re exploring all potential lines of enquiry after this shocking incident was reported to us last night, and are committed to doing all we can to find whoever is responsible: This incident is particularly shocking given a baby was threatened during this robbery and what easily could’ve been a harmful substance was thrown at one of the victims: While the liquid was thankfully not found to be harmful, this was still a terribly disturbing incident for the family and we everything possible to support them through the course of this ongoing investigation: If you were in the area at the time and saw something, or possibly saw a white Seat driving in the Dukinfield or Hyde areas then I encourage you to please check dash-cam, CCTV or doorbell footage and get in touch with us as soon as you can.”

Information should be passed to police at Ashton-under-Lyne CID on 0161 856 9262 quoting incident 2280 of 12/11/2021: Details can be passed to the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

(GRT MANCHESTER) Crown Court Report: A 46-year-old man has been jailed for life with a minimum of 23 years after admitting to the “brutal” murder of his wife Tamara Padi in Tameside earlier this year #AceNewsDesk report

#AceNewsRepot – Oct.06: Her estranged husband Aubrey Pule Padi (12/06/1975), of Carrsfield, Hyde, was sentenced at Manchester Crown Court today (Monday 27 September) to 23 years in prison before being considered for parole after pleading guilty to Tamara’s murder….

#AceDailyNews reports that a Tameside man jailed for life for the murder of his wife Tamara who was stabbed to death on 07.July 2021: at her home on Lake Road, Stalybridge: After the court heard how Padi, who had split from Tamara in February 2021, had let himself into her home on Lake Road in the early hours on the morning on 7 July. He hid and awaited his wife’s arrival.

Tamara arrived back to her home just after 1.30am with a friend who was due to sleep over that night.

The friend, who was asleep in the downstairs living room of the property, was woken up hours later at around 3.30am to the sound of screaming from upstairs.

Tamara’s friend saw Aubrey Padi attempt to flee from the front door of the property. During this time, Tamara continued to scream. It was then that Padi turned around, went back upstairs, and stabbed Tamara multiple times, the court heard.

As Padi was leaving the property he instructed the friend to call 999.

An ambulance arrived and Tamara was taken to hospital where she sadly died a short while later.

Padi later called police and he was located and taken to hospital before being arrested and later charged by detectives from our Major Incident Team.

The judge described the attack as “unforgivable” and “selfish”.

Detective Inspector Lee Shaw, of GMP’s Major Incident Team, said: “My thoughts go out to the victim’s family, especially her two daughters who have been through a tremendous amount of trauma and upset over the past few months: ” They’ve shown an enormous amount of strength and courage throughout the process of this investigation, and for that, I thank them: ” Today’s sentencing will never bring their mum back. This was a brutal attack on someone that this man had vowed to love and care for: ” The actions of Aubrey Padi are incomprehensible, and it is only right that he remains behind bars for at least the 23 years the judge has today imposed on him.”
