#AceWorldNews – JAKARTA:Jan.05: The Ministry of Manpower banned foreign workers to teach their religious theology in schools and universities, saying that his policy was aimed at preventing possible radicalism in the country NU online reported.
“We have to prevent any religious radicalism,” Minister of Manpower Hanif Dhakiri said recently.
The move will avoid any idea of radicalism to emerge in religious institution.
The policy has been implemented for two months. It is regulated under the revised Regulation of Minister of Manpower no 40/2012. The ministry has cooperated with other related sectors, such as the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Though any teacher unable to speak Bahasa will not be able to teach religious theology either.
