#AceNewsReport – Nov.10: A 21-year-old man [B] was also arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Tower Hamlets on Tuesday, 9 November: Both men remain in police custody.

#AceDailyNews reports that MET Officers have arrested two men in Tower Hamlets murder investigation: An 18-year-old man [A] attended a north London police station on Monday, 8 November and was arrested on suspicion of murder: The investigation is being led by homicide detectives from the Specialist Crime Command.

CASE NOTES:

An investigation was launched after police were called to Navigation Road, Tower Hamlets at 08:43hrs on Saturday, 6 November by the London Ambulance Service to reports of an unresponsive man.

Officers attended with paramedics and found Mohammed suffering stab injuries; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

He has been identified as Mohammed Aqil Mahdi, 22, (07.10.99) who lived in Camden.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

A post mortem examination will take place in due course.

Detective Chief Inspector Laurence Smith, said:

” The inquiry is progressing, but we are still looking for anyone with information. We need the public’s support to make London a safer place for everyone and you can assist by picking up the phone and telling us what you know. (LONDON) MET REPORT: Detectives investigating a fatal stabbing in ‘Tower Hamlets’ are appealing for witnesses or anyone with footage to come forward #AceNewsDesk report

#AceNewsReport – Sept.23: Officers administered CPR prior to the arrival of London Ambulance Service [LAS] paramedics: Despite their best efforts the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 20:52hrs: Next of kin have been notified and are being supported by specialist officers; formal identification awaits: A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 23 September: A murder investigation has been launched by the Met’s Specialist Crime Command led by Detective Chief Inspector Laurence Smith.

#AceDailyNews reports that MET Officers have made an Appeal following fatal stabbing in Tower Hamlets after police were called at 20:26hrs on Tuesday, 21 September to East Ferry Road, E14 following reports of a group of males fighting: Officers responded and found a 33-year-old man suffering from stab injuries:

DCI Smith said: “Although we are at the very early stages of this investigation, we are exploring a number of lines of enquiry and believe at this stage that this was an isolated incident, involving parties known to each other: ” My officers remain in the area speaking with people and conducting door to door enquiries. Local residents can expect to see them in the area throughout the day: ” If you have information, images or footage relating to any stage of this incident please do feel free to approach them, or, if you prefer, contact us directly or anonymously via Crimestoppers: ” We are aware of footage circulating on social media and I respectfully ask that this footage not be shared further as it not only encourages unhelpful speculation, but could compromise any future legal proceedings: ” No matter how small or insignificant your information seems, it could be a missing piece of the puzzle or may confirm information provided by someone else. If you can help, please do make the call.”

Detective Chief Superintendent Marcus Barnett, Commander for the Central East Command which covers Tower Hamlets said: “I am deeply saddened that another life has been taken by knife crime and as a result another family devastated by such an incident: My local officers remain at the crime scene and will be supporting the community and working closely with our Specialist Crime investigators who will, I can assure you, do everything possible to find those responsible: ” In the coming days there will be increased levels of visible patrols, to provide reassurance to those living, working and travelling in the area: I know that this needless death will send shockwaves through our communities. My message to the community is clear – we are here for you.

“If you have any information about the incident then please get in touch, or, if you have concerns around local community safety, contact your local Neighbourhoods Policing Team or speak with officers as they conduct their patrols.”

A crime scene remains in place. 

There have been no arrests.

(LONDON) MET REPORT: A murder investigation has been launched after a man was found fatally wounded in Tower Hamlets #AceNewsDesk report

#AceNewsReport – Aug.18: Officers and LAS paramedics attended the scene and found a man, believed to be aged 50, with a head injury. He was pronounced dead at the scene: Work is under way to inform all next of kin: A post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.

#AceDailyNews reports that a murder investigation launched in Tower Hamlets police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) at approximately 07:00hrs on Monday, 16 August following reports that a man had been found unresponsive in Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, Southern Grove, E3.

Detective Chief Inspector Claire Hine, of the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, said: The discovery of a body in these circumstances will understandably cause concern in the local community: I would like to reassure them that an investigation is already under way, led by specialist homicide detectives. We are determined to find out, what happened and to identify the person or people responsible: At this early stage, we are keeping an open mind as to what has caused this fatal head injury. A post mortem examination will take place in due course which will provide greater clarity: I would urge anyone who saw or heard anything unusual in the vicinity of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, either this morning or last night, to come forward: Any information, no matter how small, could be extremely important to our investigation.”

Supt Daniel Rutland from the Central East Command Unit, which covers Tower Hamlets, said: I want to reassure local residents that this incident is being investigated by a team of specialist officers: Local officers will also be in and around the area in the coming days; if you have concerns or have information that could assist this investigation then please speak to one of these officers or call police.”……..No arrests; enquiries continue.
