Ace Breaking News – Kimberly Guilfoyle, the scandal-ridden US ambassador to Greece, resigned from her post today.

The Wall Street Journal reported last week on several instances of alleged corruption, including Guilfoyle pressuring Eric Deters, a Republican donor, to wire her $100,000 to pay her American Express bill.
In return, Deters was supposed to receive political favors: meetings with various senior Trump officials, an introduction to musician and MAGA personality Kid Rock, and, apparently, some help with his “personal tax and legal issues.”
Although Guilfoyle and her lawyers denied Deters’ claims, saying the Signal messages he provided between the pair that the Journal later verified were false (presumably she was only trying to collect $150,000 in unpaid fees for consulting and speaking engagements), the ambassador is also the subject of previous reported scandals around allegations of promoting personal business interests in Greece, leading to a new congressional investigation.
All of this reportedly frustrated President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio—so much so that her tenure lasted just 11 months. A humiliating downfall, to put it lightly.
