#AceWorld – ROMANIA – Nov.09 – Around 10,000 Romanians took to the streets on Saturday protesting the inability of their compatriots living abroad to cast their votes in the first round of presidential elections, which were held November 2, AFP reported.
Protesters have called for the resignation of Prime Minister Victor Ponta, one of the presidential candidates.
Romanians living abroad had to stand in long lines to cast their ballots, and some were not able to vote at all due to the lack of special forms to be filled in by voters.
